yes, just check that my space pack has a higher priority in your load order, so this mods water gets overriden by the space water. :)
KillMarks 19 Oct, 2018 @ 2:02am
This pack looks beautiful. Will it work with your space pack?
Ozhara  [author] 14 Aug, 2014 @ 11:36pm
Just click unsubscribe and then verify your game cache.

In case there are non-terrain graphics changed - shouldn't be the case with this pack - but I would have to redownload it right now to be sure^^ - before verifying, delete your AoE\data\slp folder.

This is for most modded stuff in AoE is done by adding new files, but HiddenPath didn't implement anything to get rif of additional content automatically.
CarlosTerrible 14 Aug, 2014 @ 6:44pm
i did not like the pack. How do i get rid of it?
DaysofKnight 23 Jan, 2014 @ 6:40am
Indeed late reply, but good idea. I will give it a look see :D
Ozhara  [author] 16 Jan, 2014 @ 10:31pm
There is now an overhauled version with additional FE support available: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=214950905
Ozhara  [author] 19 Dec, 2013 @ 12:35am
As a late seconf reply, beside using another water mod after this one, you can use my mod manager to create a mod containing different mod contents. :)
That way you can handle your own mod mix with just one click.
Ozhara  [author] 19 Sep, 2013 @ 3:54am
I don't think that this is possible without changing the game code, as the actual system is how HiddenPath implemented the mod feature.

But you can subscribe to any other water mod after this mod, resulting in this mods land terrain, but other water terrains ingame.

As steam sometimes messes up your mods, the safest way ist to verify your game cache and then subscribe to both mods.
DaysofKnight 19 Sep, 2013 @ 3:46am
I like these texture a lot, my favorite being the Ice. But I was wondering if you could make it so that the mod files aren't just one file in the mod folder. Because I want these textures but I want to change the water texture to something else
Ozhara  [author] 8 Aug, 2013 @ 10:48pm
Thanks a lot. Glad you like it!
(Have you also had a look at my other texture packs? I've published a 'few' more. :) )
underfire 8 Aug, 2013 @ 6:00pm
Awesome!
mschuette7646252 17 Jun, 2013 @ 2:34pm
looks a little better thanks
Ozhara  [author] 21 May, 2013 @ 11:25am
There is now a V3 of my mines:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=146781773

Found out why you can see the default mines behind every modded ones until now. The game contains shadow graphics for the mines showing the mines themselve.
So V3 containes updated shadows too...
Dregorin 19 May, 2013 @ 7:08am
Beautifull textures. Thanks for sharing them with us!
Ozhara  [author] 11 May, 2013 @ 8:32pm
Wanted to update the files to reduce their size - but the workshop gets me crazy.

While I theoretically know how updating seems to should work - it doesn't function for my textures while mines an preview picks were no problem.
After updating - the mod contains exactly the same data as before though it claims to have successfully done the job.
Very frustrating! Made a request for the support but if anyone knows a solution - please tell me!
Reallife.exe 11 May, 2013 @ 9:05am
nice job
HML 11 May, 2013 @ 12:07am
good job! 좋습니다.
Ozhara  [author] 10 May, 2013 @ 10:59pm
Since I know about the lag problem I worked on reducing file sice for my textures. As you can see this one has less sice than V1 and my full texture pack actually has less half the sice than this one.

And since updating mods works on my site I think I will do so with smaller texture files for this one too at the weekend.
Yedi Bela Kemal 10 May, 2013 @ 4:31pm
i have downloaded the previous version and it caused alot of lag in multiplayer games, ended up deleting it unfortunately..i actaully loved this texture pack
Spritle 10 May, 2013 @ 10:01am

@ RivaL ReNeGaDe™

I got an answer from HiddenPath regarding the use of texture mods.

"There is no pre-match game data compatibility enforcement. As long as a game data mod does not affect gameplay then they will have no problem using it.
If a mod changes something like ‘archer attack speed’ and the mod is not installed by every player then it will cause game to eventually go out of sync."

Seems the problem lies somewhere else or they don't know this themselves. Think I have to disabuse them in that case...
Ozhara  [author] 9 May, 2013 @ 8:36pm
That normally can't be as it only changes the terrain. I myself use my mod in conjunction with the resolution change but made the experience that after having subscribed 30 mods, no further subscriptions were considered until I unsubscribed some other ones. Perhaps it's some kind of this effect and your steam had stopped using the resolution changes because of the total number of subscribed mods?
Derf 9 May, 2013 @ 4:00pm
I think this mod set my resolution to a lower one... rendering the game pretty unplayable. I'm removing the mod now.
Ozhara  [author] 9 May, 2013 @ 1:34pm
@Csome
I tested around a little bit with that last night and today but until now the results were not satisfying. But I'll keep it up. Hope I get good results at the weekend.
Bauhasaurus 9 May, 2013 @ 1:28pm
With smaller i mean that the size of the texture be less giant. I make arhitetural renders lol. If u make this less sharpen and smaller it will be asome.
Ozhara  [author] 9 May, 2013 @ 1:23pm
Hope the developers fix that - as the workshop is a 'bit' buggy changing mods for every switch between SP/MP can't be the final solution...

Regarding the units - I have tested around with units and buildings a little bit the last days - technically it would be no problem. Finding good graphics instead is^^ - can't draw them on my own withoutout any base. But never say never. If I find a way I definitly would start an attempt doing it.
ƦƴѵŁ 9 May, 2013 @ 1:14pm
Based from other modders, that's the current fix for any mod to be played on MP. I guess I'll sub and unsub when it comes to SP and MP xD. But these are the best around. Makes it feel like I'm playing AoC with AoE 3 graphics with a hint of retro still in it. :D

Do you do unit textures as well? The paladin needs some lovins!

P.S. Thanks for the quick reply back!
Ozhara  [author] 9 May, 2013 @ 11:56am
@RivaL ReNeGaDe™:

I don't know exactly as I havn't testet it yet in multiplayer.

But because of the fact, that (as I just read) 'game data' modifications only work in MP if all players have subscribed to this mod - and there is no option to mark a mod as 'texture' but only as map script, scenario, AI, game data etc...

Not knowing this fact I released my textures as 'game data'. Would change that, but currently I have error 9 every time I try to upload one of my mods.

So if no one can tell a different thing, it might be, all people playing the same multiplayer session have to use the same texture mods? I will ask the support. That would be really strange. A texture mod isn't that uncommon - it's unbelievable they made this impossible...
Junkie's # Ricudou 9 May, 2013 @ 11:40am
:)
ƦƴѵŁ 9 May, 2013 @ 11:28am
Is this multiplayer suitable? I can't seem to join a MP game since I've downloaded the texture pack. I'll unsub only so I can play MP, but I got you down for favorites because it looks AWESOME! Props to you Ozhara. :D
Altered from Catechization 9 May, 2013 @ 9:45am
Very nice Ozhara
Ozhara  [author] 9 May, 2013 @ 6:59am
For everyone that wants not only the terrain but also the cliffs, here is my cliff upgrade:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=144097439
Ozhara  [author] 8 May, 2013 @ 7:46pm
If someone would like to have these textures together with my moving water und the mines update in one mod, check out my full texture pack:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=143995036

It's also smaller (5 MB for all) so there will be eben lesser stutters in big multiplayer session if you should have experienced such.
Ozhara  [author] 8 May, 2013 @ 7:37pm
@Juggernaut:

New Textures for Buildings and Units would be great and I did some tests with that the last days.

It is possible but finding good textures is not that easy and I myself aren't talented enough to create completely new ones for that.

But how knows what mods there are to come in the future.
Ozhara  [author] 8 May, 2013 @ 7:33pm
@fabrosell
No its 12 MB.
gpsadvogado 8 May, 2013 @ 7:11pm
Convido os jogadores para fazermos um torneio de AGE jogando na Floresta.
gpsadvogado 8 May, 2013 @ 7:10pm
Excelente o jogo, ja era bom agora ficou melhor ainda. Uma pena que alguns jogadores ainda não democratizou o jogo ou tem mede de jogar, pois tentamos estes dias com diversos e nao se permitiu a jogada .
Brunit 8 May, 2013 @ 6:39pm
very nice
RubiksCubix 8 May, 2013 @ 6:29pm
Its great, it really is. The only thing I recommend is, if possible, finding new textures for some of the walls and buildings.
fabrosell 8 May, 2013 @ 6:20pm
Am I reading good? Is it 12 GB of data?
Ozhara  [author] 8 May, 2013 @ 6:14pm
Normally it will, but sometimes the workshop is a bit buggy and need more than 1 try to load a mod. And mod that I subscribed to weren't loaded when I had more than about 30 active the same time...
tka.tech 8 May, 2013 @ 5:53pm
If I've subscribed to this texture pack in my Steam client, will it automatically load next time I run AOE II or do I need to do something else?

Thanks for the mod, the game looks ok as is but a little visual polish would be nice.
Lerchs 8 May, 2013 @ 10:55am
Nice work. :)
Sepsation 8 May, 2013 @ 9:36am
I know its lot of work! And thats why I'm glad that u make so fucking many stuff for that game! U havn't to change it ... Other players like the texture of the ice i think ;)
Ozhara  [author] 8 May, 2013 @ 9:29am
Glad you like my textures!

The ice texture was one of the hardest ones to create. Several ones that looked better taken for their own, looked false with one of the other textures in conjunction.

This texture, especially after underlaying it with the structure of my water textures, was the one that looked best in every terrain formation.

But it has one of the most noticable tilling effects besides the water I think, what really is a drawback.

So the ice could be one of the things that I will focus on in the near future - depending on time left beside other optimizations I'm planing/doing right now.
Sepsation 8 May, 2013 @ 9:15am
I buyed the game and now i look at ur texturepack! It's awesome ;) The only think what is not so good i think is the ice texture :) (The snow texture is good! just the ice texture)

GREAT WORK :-)
mschuette7646252 8 May, 2013 @ 8:04am
unless u have new mission or camp. for us i dont want any thing
Ozhara  [author] 8 May, 2013 @ 7:24am
Too bad you don't like it at all.
But there are several other great texture packs out there. Just find the right one for you and enjoy gaming.
Ozhara  [author] 7 May, 2013 @ 10:34pm
As for the water, you could try my moving water pack, its totally smooth - and moving. :)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=143806879

For the other textures - problem is some of the merged graphics don't blend well less sharpen (they often look false - especially if the sharrpness of the originals differ), and only smoothing the textures out of this pack easily results in blurry textures which no one wants I asume.
