I have a problem with demand recognition using this mod.

As you can see the farm supplying the livestock to the depot is showing ZERO demand. Despite the fact that the food processing plant is demanding 140+ Livestock.

It seems the depot is not passing this demand onto the farm and so production has stopped and so the food factory will eventually run out of resources.

Has anyone worked out why this is happening and found a fix?

I'm really reluctant to abandon this mod as its really nice.

@Adieuk I don't mod any more. So it could be possible but I dont work on my Mods anymore.

No, definately not the line. I know it sounds strange. Changed it back to vanilla station and industry upgraded.

I can confirm, I have the same problem as Ims described. Prevents industry from upgrading, because at some point the production is high enough, line usage goes to 0, production stops. Line is extremly short plus no stockpile buildup.

Great concept though!

I can't set a Cargo storage limit. It is the same as Vanilla.

I see others have had trouble with the cargo with this station, and I have to agree. This station behaves as if there is little to no storage (i.e. storage is broken somehow).

A test line (quarry - CM plant - consumer) with only this type of station doesn't work at all. A test line with a vanilla station at the CM plant works as if the quarry station (this mod) has only 5-10 capacity (including overloading, at which point the industry stops shipping). The quarry gets stuck at 100 production and never upgrades because it keeps turning off and on.

A control setup with only vanilla stations works perfectly.

Even five cargo generators (mod) set to 8k can't fill the station past 50 units of cargo (as much as it can spit out before shipping stops again), while the vanilla station of same length happily sits at 500 units stored with just the stock industry.

Shame, because I really like the concept.

They only attach to Nodes. And a street that I can define only needs 2 Nodes. So I defined 2 peaces of Street directly behind each other So they have Node A, Node B, Node C and Node D. B and C are one.

I guess that would be an improvement. But how come there are only three positions to attach an entrance or exit?

That's kinda hard to do as the Street only 3 Positions i can attach them... If I update i will make 2 Entrances and 2 Exits for the whole row.

Do you understand what I was asking? It would be nice if each one of the truck stops had its own entrance and exit.

You know what would be REALLY cool... don't bother changing the speeds, but make 10 different truck stops all along the side. Might be a better solution.

Best station mod out there, much more practical to use than other cargo terminals. However there is a flaw, the road speed. It's not an issue for trucks delivery finished products into towns, but it does create horrible spacing issues for truck lines that are servicing an industry, causing industry output problems. I'm not sure if the speed is tied to the type of road being used or not, perhaps remodeling the road to a 4 lane country road may help.

sadly the max speed of the integrated road is only 20 kph, it would be great if it would be a little highter becaue it really slows down the frequency of the truck lanes but otherwise great mod :)

As the street is calculated there is no option to make more entries.

@LucusFilms. I agree with you, it is awesome and I think the principle is brilliant, more realistic than the other Freight Station options out there but there are a few things, as mentioned, that would optimise it so that it would work more efficiently.

I use every truck stop available, but every truck drives the whole lenght of that little and slow lane that connects every stop, it would be better if every single truck stop just connects to to big main Road :)

This thing is awesome but it would be even better if ever truck stop has its own acces from the street and dont have to drive the whole lenght, and possible get jammed if other trucks are in the way because one truck stop has some qued up :)

Performance should be the same

Storage for Trains is under the earth

Storage for Trucks is in the houses or under the earth if there are no houses

Thanks for this mod, the concept is just what I need, unfortunately it doesn't work as well as the vanilla or other freight terminals I've used, it seems to underperform. I also noticed some of my freight not showing as it was delivered by trucks ready for collection by the train, just vanishing into thin air?

Nevermind, i figured it out. It looks like you require a specific type of connection to your built in roads. if you use a street, it doesn't work when you add your vehicles to the line.

I am having issues getting my Line to connect to to the truck terminals. Getting a cannot connect error. Am i doing something wrong?

@doomwarriorx; thanks for letting me know. Though I think it might be a good idea to have a look at the area so it picks up at the end of the roads that are park of the station.

Ich denke es ist reiner Zufall gewesen, da der Bahnhof im Test funktioniert hat. Die Bahnsteige sind unterierdisch.

Hallo Vacation Days on Main! Ich hatte Deinen Mod mit 10 Gleisen gebaut und angeschlossen, aber benutzt wurde nur das Gleis direkt am Gebäude / an den Gebäuden bei 2. Straßenanschluß. Bei den übrigen 8 Gleisen wurde nichts abgeladen und aufgeladen. Nach Abriß des Bahnhofes und Bau des Vanilla-Bahnhofes mit gleicher Gleisanzahl (aber mit optischen Bahnsteigen), läuft es problemlos. Liegt es daran, daß bei Deinem Mod keine Bahnsteige dabei sind? Oder hab ich was falsch gemacht oder war es nur Zufall? Würde lieber Deinen Bahnhof wegen der integrierten LKW-Station nehmen...

I have noticed that there is an issue with the catchment area on this one; currently have it set with 10 rail terminals, crossing and 2nd street connection. The end of the station with the crossing is joining with both roads to a main road that has multiple industries on it but it will not pick up that they are there.

when using the station i can only connect 4 lane and 2 lane on the back side of the station but on the other side it will let me use 6 lane if you would like i think i might have a screen shot to show you a little better then i can describe to you

Nice mod. Would love street width options.
I 2nd the need for pics on how to use it. Also would like to see the ability to directly connect to industry streets.

Vielen dank für den tollen MOD. Benutze ich intensiv als Umschlagsbahmhof. Als Fabrikbahnhof ist leider der Radius zumindest bei der 400m Variante zu klein. Selbst einige meter hinter dem Strassenende gilt die Fabrik nicht länger als im Radius. Schade das würde die Nützlichkeit erhöhen :-(

hey the one side of the station you can not extend with 4 lane road but the other side you can is that how it was intented and trucks that use it as a road will no us the road they go in like they where going to use as stop in the loading area

How does the "Extra track" option work? Can you supply some additional screenshots with that? I tried to enable it but there is only the truck terminals getting wider.

It's a good MOD.. BUT if the building is long, trucks will cross the whole length having 20km/h.Would be great if trucks will only enter the loading area close to their loading bay instead of entering at the begining of the building.
