How do you actually get it to look like the screen shots here? For me it still looks like the old ui practically unchanged from 5 or so years ago.

How can I check if the file that this mod reads is updating each time I play? Kill counters are not updating; Examples: I just got my first kill on Chaos Spawn without party members being grabbed, but still shows zero. Also, have killed Burblespue Halescourge a few times, but shows zero in all of his stats (no damage taken, but also no kills). Everything had reset to zero when my old computer's storage died so I could not copy files, but since then, I have played and had kills of various enemies, and some show numbers greater than zero and others show zero.

Would also love a kill count for new bosses / enemies added since the mod's last update. Would also be awesome if it's possible a kill assist count could get added (doesn't feel great not getting any credit for dealing 99% of the damage to a monster but not getting the killing blow)

Whenever I try to click on anything in the bestiary I get an easy anti-cheat error and the game crashes. Any fix?

It's unsanctioned only for Steam and the launcher, not for the game itself. Just enable the launcher's option for auto-disabling unsanctioned mods and it works absolutely fine.

You've to enable the option, not disable it, or it says the mod isn't sanctioned. The option shouldn't disable the mod, just bypass the wrong unsanctiond status.

It already is resanctioned.
You may need to disable the option for auto-disabling unsanctioned mods on official realm in the launcher.

So far I get error messages, most likely from the kill counters, but there weren't any crashes.

This mod has been temporarily unsanctioned due to crashes caused with patch 5.1.0 (Necromancer).

We're looking into resanctioning this mod currently though, so it should be back soon!

Welp it got unsanctioned, along with a number of things, even though I used all of them and didn't crash... Why is that a reason to unsanctioned it anyway?

Since the new update, Bestiary spam some errors in chat (but no crash as far as I noticed) when using Sienna Necromancer career.

@Galahad Linesman, heavy linesman, and tank modify weapon cleave for certain attacks (they reduce enemy units' 'mass' to increase cleave). From what I see in the game's Lua source code at GitHub, this is what the terms mean:

- Linesman - 60% mass reduction for infantry horde units, maulers, and berserkers; other elites and specials are not affected
- Heavy Linesman - 60% mass reduction for infantry horde units, maulers, berserkers, and bestigors; 50% reduction for other armored elites and armored specials; other specials are not affected
- Tank - 75% mass reduction for the weakest horde units (fanatics, skavenslaves, and ungors);  50% reduction for the stronger horde units, berserkers, maulers, and other elites except for Chaos Warriors; Chaos Warrior mass increased ×10; specials are not affected

Note: I'm not sure if Wargors are affected by any of the modifiers, as I don't see its variable name in the source code. (I see the other Beastmen units but not the Wargor.)

Hope this get sanctioned as far as I know you kinda need this mod to get the clear picture together with the armory mod regarding linesman,tank modifiers and such.

@Giantshoe @tranger I believe this mod has been reverted to the old interface and doesn't use the new interface yet. See changelog: "Update: 7 Dec, 2020 Revert until rewrite is approved via GitHub".

I'm having an issue where the mod still uses the old interface. And to add onto that, Nurgloth isn't appearing.
I tried unsubscring and subscribing again. I verified the game's file. Nothing seems to make it use the new interface.

Weird. This mod is currently not labeled in the Steam Workshop as sanctioned, but in the game launcher it is marked as sanctioned.

Try opening your user_settings.config file at "AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\"
Search for "difficulty_index" under Bestiary's options and remove that line.

For anyone getting this error using the assigned keybind:

[bestiary][ERROR] [Custom Views] Toggling view with keybind: view 'bestiary_view' wasn't registered for this mod.

Either use the "/bestiary" (no "/vermintannica" doesn't work) command in chat or go to inventory and use the "BESTIARY" icon that should appear in the bottom right

Very detailed (lots of stats) and cool to look at, but just crashes after like the 3rd one you look at. Will keep following in hope it will work well in the future!
