the station was built with hollow scaffolding so people can customise the station stats by replacing the scaffolding with utility blocks , thats why when you merge it you get blocks reductions , because of the scaffolding

FYI: the block count can be reduced to 14842 by merging, slightly improving performance and refunding 298 trinium / 808 cash. I did not notice any visual differences.

I really like your collection. I might take over a whole sector in Creative and use all of your stations and ships for patrols and such and see the end result.

QUESTION:
Do you start small then scale up for building or do you start huge and down scale for greater detail?
