Having said that, after I made this report, this behavior - which I've only just now observed, despite using this mod for awihle - I noticed the same behavior... On a perfectly genuine smoothed, un-engraved, totally-natural rock wall!
I have no idea what in the heck is going on now.
Regarding floor engraving - Something I always intended on adding but was a bit awkward/difficult at the time I first added this. I might take another look at making that possible soon. (Want to add)
Regarding art descriptions - Unfortunately that's not something that's included in vanilla Rimworld, and I lack the knowledge to make a usable GUI to do what you request. If one of the other modders I talk to knows enough to give me guidance I might see about implementing this. (Might add)
Will this be updated within the foreseeable future?
If you check the debug log in-game, after my mod is loaded there should be several messages in the format "Created {engraved} from {rock}". If that is showing up but it can't be engraved, then the mod which adds the stone did not format their data correctly. If that doesn't show up, then the stone is not defined as a natural rock.
