My intended solution was to put the laser though the tractor beam and drop the cube in it so it would reflect the laser and hit the laser catcher

Reflective on top of standard, behind glass. Other reflective placed through portal directly above tractor source (on a really janky angle) - the rest I would imagine as intended.

That was hard. Don't think I did it exactly right, but got there nonetheless.
