I'm planning on reworking this in a new project to line up more w/ the new tree & DLC. The original code for this is from eight years ago (!) and maintaining it is becoming increasingly troublesome. Plus, I originally made this when I was in high school—that is to say the programming and ideas are pretty immature. I've since earned a history degree, gotten a lot more programming under my belt, and done a lot of research that could have interesting applications to this project that I think will make this a more fulfilling mod to work on and play. Point is: it'll be a bit until there's an updated version, but it'll be a major update and I hope it'll be worth the wait!

Thanks for the help, using another mod with higher load order acutally worked. I didnt know that Hoi4 is really using the load order system.

@Krabbe Turns out the reason I took it out was b/c an update made it harder to change flags—if Jake's soln doesn't work, you can try to just delete the flag in the mod folder under the workshop folder.

@Krabbe iirc I put a decision in to change the flag back—it may be broken though, I'll check it out.

@some_secret_gamer It's more of a standin until I can get individual 'plot lines' for each branch, but that's basically creating 3 new full trees—lots of work and time needed!

Krabbe you could see if there is a germany flag-changing mod that changes it to something that isn't a swastika, and then put that mod above this in the load order and see if that works

Hello, would you be interested in creating an option or a version with no swastikas for germany? I would like to create a video with your mod but it wont be available in my country because of legal reasons^^

Suggestion for improvement:
If one resists Hitler and then transitions to a democratic/communist/monarchist ideology, the Rhineland focus tree should no longer be available. This is because it only makes sense for the fascist path and otherwise lacks coherence. The same applies to the Thousand Year Reich focus.

Also check out another little mod I just whipped up to tweak generals for slightly more historical OOBs and experience gain!

Hey all, updated to new version 1.14.* and fixed a bug or two from the game updates. I'm a PhD student so things are consistently quite busy, which is why updates take so long. I do have future plans for new content, some focus reorganization, and a lot of balancing, but that doesn't pay the bills unfortunately, so they'll come along when they come along. Thanks all for the understanding, I hope you enjoy playing!

Hi it's a great mod but the focus tree seems to overlap with itself in multiple areas. For example you can get cores on the Netherlands etc through 'Incorporate the Low Countries' but also through 'Germanize Netherlands'. The only difference is the latter causes you to lose manpower and isn't even bypassed by completing the former. Would appreciate a look at this thanks.
