but... butt... sizable? cause... camping vans? the old ones? =) or... or... trucks? gee i´m dreaming again. =)
I definitely do like the fog light idea, but I dunno how to impliment it script-wise. Beyond the basics, I haven't really messed around with scripting. Honestly, I'm not even sure how to make vehicles more or less durable, haha. One of the modders here, Soul Filcher, has done a lot of exploring of the vehicles scripts, though, and has done some interesting shit.
Take a look at his mod here. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1422917094&searchtext=soul+filcher
It's probably possible.
But yeah man, I'm glad ya like it. Some of the stats might change a little later on, but I'll probably keep it around the same as it is now.
i prolly shouldn´t have mentioned it actually, it´s really a minor thing. =P
for improvements, hm, well, i really like the car =). also i don´t know if it´s possible at all, but i thought that it would be nice if the game lets you put away the alarm lights on top, and put on a frontal light battery there. so if you "crash" and lose your front lights, you still can see in the night.
the only other thing would be damage models and reflecting glass in the windows. rest is really perfect as is. well it´s no 6 seat car, so it´s not the best for hauling, but it fits the overall design of a medium haul heavy duty. and looks cool =).
that car "feels" like a 4wd offroad car. it kind of really jumps when you drive over a corpse, slides a bit too when braking at high speed and turning. has enough power to actually "feel" (yeah again) the truck(ish) engine. the looks are well done too, nice and bulky.
the trunk is a bit smaler than a bulldrivers, but that balances it out nicely (so keep that pls). if it gets damage models on top you get a 11/10 =P.
so far my nr.1 pick for any apocalypse. =)
Lonewolf, yeah man, it all works. It replaces the police pickup truck.
Domatilla, hey, thanks man. I'm glad ya like it. Naw, I don't have anywhere I'm posting wip, except occasionally the modding discord. Right now, though, I'm finishing up an 80s Chevy c10 pickup truck. After that, I might work on a Chevelle. I've also got two HMMWVs ready and a half assed front loaded (like construction equipment) I might finish up. I'm waiting to be able to add new cars instead of replacements for that, though.
Domatilla, do you have all 7 of the car mods in? If not, which ones do you have? I'll try to troubleshoot it on my end.
Domatilla, do you have any other vehicle mods installed?
Glad ya like it, Frission! What year did ya have?
