Please don't worry about it. I welcome critical opions, it helps me to build better chambers.
Chelliste 6 Apr, 2015 @ 5:56pm
Actually it did work consistently for me once I placed the portal at the edge instead of in the center. The panel was wide enough. I hope you don't think I was being critical. I saw the explanations before. I did smiley at you.
Andi  [author] 6 Apr, 2015 @ 2:21pm
This chamber was made using the pti editor, before I learned how to use hammer. In the pti editor, there is no way to make it work everytime. I would have to remake the entire chamber so I left it and hoped that I wouldn't be flamed to hard. It worked out for the most part.
Chelliste 6 Apr, 2015 @ 2:13pm
The angled panel fooled me for awhile, too, until I accidentally placed the portal off-center and saw where thre blue gel landed. Alrighty then, if that's how you're going to be! ;-) Later I forgot there were two light bridges and that slowed me in the final room. Get a clue, Chelliste!

Yeah this placement seems to have confused me as well :P

oh. ok, leave it the way it is then.
Andi  [author] 17 Feb, 2014 @ 10:46am
I tried that when I designed this chamber. I angled panel needs to be right where it's at because the gel will be to far to the right to make the jump. The editor is not constant with gel placement. I have seen gels curve in mid air because the portal altered the course of the gel. It all depends where the portal in placed on the panel. I found that this placement works about 80% of the time.

the panel, with which you should paint the bridge, so that you can jump up to that ledge (2:58 in the video) should be 1 block to the right. otherwise the player (me) puts a portal on the panel and when the info_placement_helper (portal magnet) centralizes the portal on it, gel splashes on the wall which is 1 block to the right from opposite the panel - it doesn't reach the bridge. idk how, but when I play it, that's exactly what happens.

when I read what I wrote, even I got a bit confused, so I'll send you a screenshot or something later.
Andi  [author] 17 Feb, 2014 @ 8:09am
Thank you. What is your question about the panel? Sorry, I'm not sure what your asking.

SUCH A GOOD CHAMBER! but that panel ruined it! I had no idea what this panel over the cube button was for and after 20 minutes of wondering around I wached the video and saw the solution. can't that panel be 1 block to the right?all that other gel-bridge thing was BRILLIANT!

You need BEEMOD. I use BEEMOD 1.05, BEEMOD2 is a bit buggy.

How do you get that door thats not an exit or an enter for the chamber? :o
Andi  [author] 23 Jan, 2014 @ 11:40am
Thank you, I'm happy to hear that you liked it.
Requiemsoul 23 Jan, 2014 @ 10:51am
It isn´t very difficult. It´s very , very funny. Thumbs up!
Andi  [author] 18 Jan, 2014 @ 8:41am
Thanks, that is the general idea, I wouldn't want anyone to miss anything... explore every corner.
dire.fcs 18 Jan, 2014 @ 8:28am
Well, just finished this one, is an excellent tough puzzle! You really know how to make us explore every inch of your maps! I'll try your new one.
Andi  [author] 17 Jan, 2014 @ 1:11pm
Yes, I just released it today. Please give it a try.

You're right, that move is nasty. Originally, I had it over a goo pit.
dire.fcs 17 Jan, 2014 @ 10:22am
I notice that you released a new puzzle (I've take a sneaky looking around, just until the turrets), but I'm playing this one and got stuck on the 2nd part of 2nd chamber with the jumping gel; that is a really 'nasty' move...
Andi  [author] 27 Dec, 2013 @ 1:24pm
I see what you're saying, thanks for the input. I'm GLaD you lliked the test.
Stuntmanmyke 27 Dec, 2013 @ 11:26am
often when you launch the blue gel on the light bridge, the gel does not crash on the bridge but it is a ball that floats in the air, then you can push the ball (quite difficult) in the desired direction, it's really a bad glitch. Otherwise yes I liked this test mainly the first part :-)
Andi  [author] 27 Dec, 2013 @ 11:16am
Thanks for playing, I hope you liked it as a whole. I had a look at your screenshot but I'm not sure what you're saying, what glitch are you talking about? btw... Duma Key is a great book.
Stuntmanmyke 27 Dec, 2013 @ 9:56am
Ok i have watch the video and for the midlle part i used a big glitch with the blue gel (look the screenshot on my workshop) but your solution is much prettier than mine. I almost do as you but I did not have the same method to access the part farther away. Viva Stephen King :-D
Stuntmanmyke 27 Dec, 2013 @ 9:42am
I loved the first part, the end was nice but I was not too appreciated the middle. I do not think I have solved this part as it should ... I'll watch the video to check.
Andi  [author] 12 Nov, 2013 @ 1:57pm
Thank you.
scjay 12 Nov, 2013 @ 3:53am
good puzzle
Andi  [author] 2 Oct, 2013 @ 9:31am
I will have to look in to that. Thanks.
wildgoosespeeder 2 Oct, 2013 @ 12:09am
Well, now there is BEEMOD2 .2.2 alpha which has the magnet portal object if you configure your objects correctly...
Andi  [author] 1 Oct, 2013 @ 11:29pm
First, place a portal on the left side of the panel, then if you watch the path of the gel and keep your eyes on it, you will why. Thanks for playing, I hope you liked it.
wildgoosespeeder 1 Oct, 2013 @ 8:24pm
I finally got around to solving the test and the only thing that makes no sense is why the gel blob flies out of the portal at an angle when clearly the blob is dropping straight down, no horizontal interference before entering the portal. So strange!
Andi  [author] 8 Aug, 2013 @ 10:00am
Happy to hear you liked it. Thanks for playing.
Lord Dhaf 8 Aug, 2013 @ 7:25am
Good chamber! I did the intended solution, except I used a somewhat simpler method to get the cube.
I painted the floor up to the white wall instead of the second floor. Form there I could both jump up the ledge and jump to the cube.
Andi  [author] 21 Jul, 2013 @ 6:53pm
GLad to hear you enjoyed it.
ZneX 15 Jul, 2013 @ 4:37pm
Thumbs up - A great chamber with great puzzles. Almost lost the cube to the fizzler in the last room ;-)
Fatso 8 Jul, 2013 @ 9:39am
I just finished this chamber. Feel it is my most challenging one yet. Give it a try and let me know what you think. here is the link thanks. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=158581341
Andi  [author] 8 Jul, 2013 @ 1:24am
I'll be happy to try your camber. Thanks for trying mine.
Fatso 7 Jul, 2013 @ 6:05am
Great Chamber found it to be interesting at the end without giving anything away to other players. Andi if you could give my Chamber a try and let me know what you think https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=158182542
Andi  [author] 17 Jun, 2013 @ 10:34am
Oh, okay, I understand. Thank you again.
Mr Vapour Waterhandle 17 Jun, 2013 @ 8:32am
Oh no, I did like the ending. I meant 'neat and evil'. Oops!
Andi  [author] 16 Jun, 2013 @ 3:12pm
Thank you both for your kind comments.

@Mr Vapour Waterhandle GLaD you liked this chamber but sorry you weren't fond of the ending, however, it was always my intention to make this chamber 'evil'. :)

@chrismowe Very happy to hear you are enjoying my chamnbers, I hope you like the majority of them, I have over 30 chambers and more are on the way. Thanks again.
chrismowe 15 Jun, 2013 @ 11:50pm
10/10 again. Your maps are awesome because its a great balance of good puzzles and difficult tasks
That moment when I finally grasped the cube from falling into the fizzler felt like I saved 200 puppies from danger.
Mr Vapour Waterhandle 2 Jun, 2013 @ 5:10am
Great map, from the solution video I see I did just about everything in the intended manner, except for overcomplicating the last part by jumping from the bridge to bounce back while grabbing the cube from the floor. That felt need and evil, though!
Andi  [author] 29 May, 2013 @ 8:46pm
You are correct, I forgot about the laser field. May need to fix that too.
Kolgork 28 May, 2013 @ 10:53am
hey andy, no really problem. But i was about to do it (by mistake), and then i thought that a cleaning gel very near to the exit door does not make any hurt to the test chamber. Going to the first room again it's impossible (if i'm not missing something) because the laser field.
Redoing the chamber does not would be a great problem, since is not too long and it is very funny, but it's a bit hard to execute.
anyway, i loved the chamber man. and hope you excuse my poor english.
Andi  [author] 28 May, 2013 @ 1:16am
Happy to hear you liked it. If you covered the cube in repulsion gel I guess you could go back to the first room and do it again, or you can reload the chamber. I have a automatic save when you enter the second room... or I could add some cleansing gel. Perhaps the last option is best. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
Kolgork 27 May, 2013 @ 7:01pm
Wow, tricky and creative puzzles. i like it! to be honest, i had this chamber downloaded about two weeks ago. It kicked my ass very badly. Today, i gave it another try, and finally i was able to finish it :D
just one thing, what if i cover by mistake the cube in the repulsion gel?
Anyway, this one was a VERY GOOD test chamber, congratulations :)
Andi  [author] 20 May, 2013 @ 4:00pm
@wildgoosespeeder Ah, I see what you're talking about.
@N.O.V.A. Thank you for you kind comments. GLaD to hear that you are enjoying my chambers. I should be able to release Event sometime late next week and yes, I love to read. I'm currently reading a novel called Shadow Zone. Perhaps that will be my "S" chamber if it continues to be good.
Nothing 20 May, 2013 @ 11:45am
@Andi Wow, nice! Glad to find someone else who likes to read on Steam. Good work on the puzzles, looking forward to the next one (your ideas are very original).
wildgoosespeeder 19 May, 2013 @ 7:25pm
No I mean that the gel landed on a side of the wall to the right of the fizzler for some strange reason, a wall that serves no use to proceed.
