Scalpel has been added. At present it only affects surgery success chance. I'll tinker with it a little more before updating it to the mod.

I'm enjoying the stats as they are for my playstyle. May be good to add presets for those who want something other than the default though!

Will you be adding anything for crafting or artistic? Like a ruler, drill, or chisel? :D

Not like is very hard to tune the mod for yourselves, just open <steam_install_root>\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1443002973\1.3\Defs\Item Defs\AdditionalTools.xml in an editor and adjust each tool bonuses to your liking.

Love the mod but the tools are too broken to use without feeling like cheating. Still good job.

These tools need to be nerfed. I bought a chainsaw from the first trader for a few hundred silver and suddenly was harvesting 156 wood from small trees at an alarming rate. Well, a happy rate. It felt cheaty. 1200% is alot. Maybe 250%. For the highest tier.

Isn't 1200% research speed way too much for laptop? Thats like 12 colonists researching. I end up progressing faster than i build and thats with 2x research difficulty mod

Having a tool for contruction and smoothing seperate seems odd to me, doesnt construction help with smoothing?
also, isnt a jackhammer more of a digging/mining tool?

i have pawns with more than one skill, any chance there could be tools kits of some sort? like "kit for crafting and construction" or "kit for farming" or something of the sort

Hello, i love this mods.

Can you please update it for the 1.2 please ?

Also can you add a tools that can improve any work for 150% in the tiers 1 and 500% in the tiers 2 like a tool-box.
it's difficult to change the tools everytime your best colon need to do many jobs at once.

This is an alright mod but I would like to see tools for other jobs, brooms/mop for cleaning, packs or even carts for hauling, knives for butchering, things for cooking, Poles for fishing, tools for medical, social/trading, smithing, crafting, art, etc..

@Lady Elizabeth - Sorry for coming across to harsh. Right now, with the numbers as they are, the "OP'ness" seems... unfounded (+400% ??) and beyond a logical estimate of balanced. I assumed this mod was then designed simply for the "funzies" and was purposely throwing balance out the window. As a constructive thought, I would gauge somewhere around a x115% to be somewhat more in the ballpark of realistic, balance-wise, for the basic and easily obtained tools. perhaps the later stages (depending on effort to obtain) might reach around the 180% percent mark? This would leave the character's stats as the primary factor involved. after breaching the 200% mark, things would start to feel less, personally required, skill wise.

This is of course, a single man's thought. My apologies if I insulted you, miss.

@The Bard of Hearts - It's not a cheaters mod, it was devved for myself but then I released it out for everyone, based on the balancing post which is above I'm working on reducing it's OP-ness.
