But I did not see that as a big problem. (else I would just put in the old pure dds). I only fixed the centre dot.
I didnt see any real problems with the compression pixels in other parts (yet)
Remember (mostly competitive players) that if servers do not have a fully up to date consistency, you may need to use my 'other' version of these crosshairs.
I update both so no worries. :)

Its called "DCDs Crosshairs (OLD/OUTDATED Consistency)"
This problem will show if you simply do not get the mod to load. (console will show a error message)
If you play mainly on public servers you do not need to worry about anything.
If you play mainly competitive, well.. those servers will probably fix their consistency 'soon' as its the new way to do exo crosshairs.
* added a empty blank exo crosshair dot as the mixed variant performs the job perfectly fine.
Special thanks to UWE for not telling us in the patchnotes that they made a exo dot.
Special thanks to Mendaps for telling me. :D
* Added a few lightblue and darkblue lines on the 'shared xhair' to help distinguish it a tiny bit better from the surroundings in alien vision.
* Added a blueish dot in the parasite/spike xhair. (using only yellow or brown tints proved to not work, and melee was already using blue)
* Edited the crosshairs-hit file accordingly.
* Edited pictures accordingly.
* Edited compare picture to include the newer original crosshairs, which now also contain a dot. (although mine works in both light & dark)
Im working out how to best display the alien xhair for para/spike and the shared xhair, on alien vision. Goal is to do this without resorting to changing it to brutal.
I may take a day or 2, to test ingame on a testmod how well it works on color, visibility in dark/light areas and its look. But im working on it.
Plenty difference, the biggest ones being the Crosshair replacing nothing & the middledot which actually works on both dark and light surfaces.
* Added the middle aim stripe to the GL/Flame xhair for the GL.
* Added a 'aim' stripe on the right of the GL/Flame to make the player remember that the grenade shoots out the launcher from the right side towards the middle, rather then shoot from the middle.
* Fixed preview to represent actual ingame xhairs better. Old picture had a overshown glow.
ive been needing a new one
I HAVE a axe crosshair. I was sure 'Everything else' was pretty clear on that.
Aliens, GL, axe, exo all share 1 crosshair which is why that one looks so weird.
The yellow is partially a reminder for aliens that a real melee attack is selected, and not like parasite.
The dot in the middle is for exo, axe and stuff like that. The line is to give a sort of feel for a GL.
but anyway cool mod :)) , you should add Axe crossair
The everything else crosshair was hard to use in alien melee. If I like the change I will update the preview picture.
