These arent totally compatible with ACE which is automatically loaded up when you start the game (I started my collection before ACE was put together).
Just picked up the game yesterday..
@Wanjia Honestly didn't think of it. The random holes and missing chunks are there to mostly allow your hearthlings to get down from places where they like to get stuck during construction. Others are there to balance those divots out so that it looks more uniform and stylistic rather than "my people are idiots, Sandra starved last week on a two block high wall she could totally get down from".
Is the ACE compatible version of this collection out? Or is it a still in progress? Either way, thank you SOOO much.
Honestly it took so long to get this last pack out I feel like a necromancer even posting it.
@QuickDeath I did not forget, but felt like I needed to get this pack out first. Keep an eye out ;)
If you would like I am more than happy for someone to make a version of these templates as you have described so long as they credit the original.
I am working on it currently, I had it halfway done then had to scap it because the clay bricks started misbehaving. The walls are finished I just need to do the images and upload so... stay tuned
When a Skuldos High Template pack will be released?
I will make ACE versions of all of these packs once the mod is finished.
The Walls and Defences and tier 2 pack will be posted around the end of January 2019.
Hope everyone enjoys their festive period and gets plenty of time to game.
I'm not even going to begin to give an estimate for the Northern Alliance stuff as my free time has taken a huge hit at the moment. But I have already prototyped a fair bit.
Thanks for all the comments and feedback guys :)
@QuickDeath I see what you're getting at. That would actually work better than the mockup I made, which wasn't building very well at all. I am focused on the Tier 2 templates for now but I will look into this some more when I have the next pack up.
Like, supposing an enemy broke through the wall... if they break down a regular section of wall, they still have to secure the breach and push past the defenders. They'd be exposed out in the open. Where as if they broke into a tower built into the wall, it would make a natural foothold for them. Placing the tower against the wall rather than as part of it means they have to break through the wall itself first, then into the tower.
Thanks for the feedback :)
