@Striker press the little plus symbol and they should download.

These arent totally compatible with ACE which is automatically loaded up when you start the game (I started my collection before ACE was put together).

@LGI that is odd, I will have a go now and see if I can get them to co-operate.
Lazy Invincible General 10 Jan, 2020 @ 1:45pm
..... I just tried downloading your templates view {LINK REMOVED} .... it replied there that "Steam Api doesn't return the URL to download the file +_+" . tried doing it for the vasedro and riallwood packs.... could you please reupload them?
Lazy Invincible General 10 Jan, 2020 @ 1:32pm
any idea why steam is refusing to download the templates... its been doing this for every single Template I try and download, but it doesn't do it for normal mods.. can't seem to figure out why
Quwface  [author] 3 Aug, 2019 @ 8:34am
@Dr.Catsville I initially did play with the idea but the little gap structures were buggy and annoying. Generally I just edit the template and stretch the wall to the cliff, or use the slab tool to fill in gaps and paint it to match.

@Wanjia Honestly didn't think of it. The random holes and missing chunks are there to mostly allow your hearthlings to get down from places where they like to get stuck during construction. Others are there to balance those divots out so that it looks more uniform and stylistic rather than "my people are idiots, Sandra starved last week on a two block high wall she could totally get down from".
Дѣдъ Aнтуанъ-Cержъ 2 Aug, 2019 @ 4:10pm
hm i like to build a wall from a hill to the edge of a hill but i cant do this properly cause your wall will be flying from that edge and this looks awful i think you should to make those "little" walls for a block or 2 (but not for a large number) i think you will understand me and some players will agree with me
Wanjia 2 Aug, 2019 @ 8:45am
I really love your buildings but did you ever think to make an OCD friendly pack? Like where you fix the random holes, fences have a pattern, ect..
Quwface  [author] 19 Jul, 2019 @ 8:00am
@Ned not yet, although I am keeping track of their progress on Discord
Ned 19 Jul, 2019 @ 6:57am
These templates are literally perfect, and are lifesavers because frankly, I'm a terrible builder.

Is the ACE compatible version of this collection out? Or is it a still in progress? Either way, thank you SOOO much.
Quwface  [author] 8 Jun, 2019 @ 4:11pm
@Homem RIP in peace

Honestly it took so long to get this last pack out I feel like a necromancer even posting it.

@QuickDeath I did not forget, but felt like I needed to get this pack out first. Keep an eye out ;)
Quwface  [author] 8 Jun, 2019 @ 4:08pm
@ScientistMan That would work for some of them, but the thing is I have been playing the ACE builds and the incompatibility lies with the changes to item recipes making those items have a new and unique ID. I have experimented with making empty shells with just windows etc but even that is not guarantee. I do not wish to impede on the creativity of the ACE team as they are really passionate and devoted to delivering their idea of Stonehearth, that for me at least it feels better to wait.

If you would like I am more than happy for someone to make a version of these templates as you have described so long as they credit the original.
QuickDeath 7 Jun, 2019 @ 9:19am
I know it's been a while and you might not even remember, but did you ever get anywhere with modifying the raillwood basic quarters to work with the raillwood basic walls?
Fernando Pescador 27 May, 2019 @ 12:59pm
Rip Skuldos templates :(
ScientistMan96 27 May, 2019 @ 12:13pm
I think a good way to fix various mod incombatabilities (Mainly with ACE) is to place a colored area of blocks wear you designed the various crafting bits to go, rather than putting the thing there yourself. ie. Rather than having the crafting tables in the template, just put a red tile on the floor, and we can place the bench there after the fact. Would also help your templates that have higher level crafting tools built in, thus not being able to be completed until the crafter levels up.

When a builder takes their creations to the next level, you aren't that, you jumped up three.
TheCakeMachine 8 Jan, 2019 @ 1:37pm
@Quwface Oh that's awesome, I'd love ACE compatible versions. Although take whatever time you need, I'm fine fixing things myself until you're able to make changes. <3

I've updated the description of all of these packs after some testing with ACE enabled.

I will make ACE versions of all of these packs once the mod is finished.

I totally understand you are probaby busy with life and such, but any word on Northern templates? Just wondering. Thanks so much for all your hard work on these they are amazing and I can't play without them. Should be in vanilla game imo.
MegaPoggy 22 Oct, 2018 @ 10:43pm
These schematics are AMAZING and single handedly make me want to play this game more. They are all so well thought out. Thank you for taking the time to make and post these.

Obsidiyon 9 Oct, 2018 @ 3:53pm
I have never been a creative person, building square boxes at best. anything that's not a square box is because I copied someone else's work. So I give you a really heartfelt thanks for letting me have very nice buildings with out beating my head against my permanent creative block.
ghost in the haze 9 Oct, 2018 @ 10:23am
These are fricking sweet holy crap
Quwface  [author] 7 Oct, 2018 @ 12:19pm
The Riallwood Tier 2 buildings have been added to the collection.

I'm not even going to begin to give an estimate for the Northern Alliance stuff as my free time has taken a huge hit at the moment. But I have already prototyped a fair bit.

Thanks for all the comments and feedback guys :)
Quwface  [author] 2 Oct, 2018 @ 2:25pm
Hey Guys! For those of you waiting for Riallwood - High Template Pack, I've missed the deadline I set for myself due to real life stuff that kind of took over September. I have nearly finished the pack and will be able to put it up hopefully this weekend with an added bonus pack of oddities and quirks, which should give you some insight as to how I put these packs together.

@QuickDeath I see what you're getting at. That would actually work better than the mockup I made, which wasn't building very well at all. I am focused on the Tier 2 templates for now but I will look into this some more when I have the next pack up.
QuickDeath 25 Sep, 2018 @ 5:29pm
I was thinking more of placing it behind the wall itself, right up against it. Most ideally on the inside of a corner section, but also behind straight sections for particularly long walls. I suspect it'd be a bit tought to resize the basic quarters to see use as a section of the wall itself, not without upsetting the ability to seamlessly encircle a town with a continuous wall. I suppose you could do it, but I also felt like it'd look better/tougher as an attachment to the inside of a wall than part of the wall itself.

Like, supposing an enemy broke through the wall... if they break down a regular section of wall, they still have to secure the breach and push past the defenders. They'd be exposed out in the open. Where as if they broke into a tower built into the wall, it would make a natural foothold for them. Placing the tower against the wall rather than as part of it means they have to break through the wall itself first, then into the tower.
Quwface  [author] 25 Sep, 2018 @ 2:39pm
@QuickDeath that's actually a really good observation. I will play around with the template and see if I can get it to play nice. If so I will add it to the walls pack as a mid-wall tower.

Thanks for the feedback :)
QuickDeath 18 Sep, 2018 @ 8:31pm
Love the packages. I had an idea about two of the Riallwood templates. Would it be possible to reconfigure the Basic Quarters so that it can be readily placed against the basic walls? The basic quarters is *almost* the perfect height to be able to use its stairs to climb up to the wall seamlessly. Combined with its shape, it'd make an excellent watch tower for them to boot. If it's at all possible to modify the design so it can be used in conjunction with the walls, that'd be amazing.

Thanks Bozi :) I'm glad you're enjoying

Tier 1 for the Ascendancy has just been added. Tier 2 should be out mid September (day job permitting).
Azure Heretic 25 Aug, 2018 @ 9:09am
love these Templates man, never uninstalling these beautiful buildings; cant wait to see what you do for The Ascendency, and maybe even the Northern Alliance later down the line. Keep up the great work!
