couldn't you have just update this mod so it actually worked like the traditional vanilla sketchy one did like this one which actually works

FIX: GO TO THE MODS FOLDER, GO TO THE MOD FILE/DESCRIPTOR, USE NOTEPAD OR NOTEPAD ++ AND ADD THE FOLLOWING: dependencies = {"Elder Kings"}

And she should work like a charm

guys trust me they aren't gonna update this mod. I wish they would but they're most likely busy with other mods they do or are busy with real life stuff.

Use Notepad++ to access sketchycheatmenu.mod (MOD File) where you will paste dependencies={"Elder Kings"} underneath picture="sketchycheatmenu.jpg"

What do you mean when you say "copy and paste: dependencies={"Elder Kings"} into the text file under the original txts then save"? I dont see any "original txts" anywhere whenver I open the mod and I am not allowed to edit anything or add anything after I open it, a little help please?

wow so i figured it out
1. go to your mod folder in your Ck2 folder
2. find the skettchyekders MOD file/text file and lick on it to open
3.copy and paste: dependencies={"Elder Kings"} into the text file under the orginal txts then save.
4.go to launch menu for CK2 and enable the ORIGINAL sketchy cheat menu mod(assuming you already have that one downloaded, if not do so)
5.Launch ck2 and boom it works

Just a heads up for anyone else who has the issue with it not downloading. I started playing CK2 again the next day and when i got on i noticed the mod in launcher. So i guess if you restart steam or something it might fix the issue of the mod not downloading

The mod doesnt seem to download for me. It isnt anywhere in the mod folder and it doesnt show up in the launcher. Any ideas?

I have absolutely no idea how Steam works, I've unzipped and put the files in but that didn't exactly help. What you need to do is get the version that is in a regular ol folder instead of a zip file and put this mod in there. You can download that from Paradoxplaza or you can use this with the SVN version.

Also as further note I've downloaded everything off of Steam, but i have no clue how merging files gotten from Steam would go for any type of mod, but for the most part elder kings runs perfectly fine with the sketchy added into its file and it seems to literally just sit there inactive

So I downloaded this off of steam, i have windows 10 and WinRAR
I proceeded to open documents with windows 10, found the two winrar files for ek sketchy and base ek
I then put ek sketchy inside of base ek and that hasn't worked
Anything I should do different?

You don't copy and paste apparently you just drag the file over to the other file i read online specifically for transferring files from one winrar to another winrar file

Manually download Elder Kings from the subforum and then copy and paste these files into the mod folder.

Is this compatible with the SVN?

@Aderrion - Never hurts to ask . In all honesty I don't think anyone knows how to get this to work. All I've ever seen is people constantly asking how to get it to work, and then a few who claim that they got it to work belittle the ones asking but never saying how they actually got it to work. If you can figure it out, kuddos. If not then you might as well write it off like the rest of us have.

@Aderrion - are you using CKII Version 3.0.1.1? everyone seems to forget that Elder Kings isn't updated to the latest CKII yet....

I can not use this mod. I copied the whole folder inside the zip file to the elder mod folder and the game crashes

The actual paste option to be correct

Opened up the Zip files copied the files to clipboard then tried pasting but it doesn't appear the only thing that does is add to archive

The original Sketchy Cheats isn't made for Elder Kings so there are hella crashes with it

For everyone who is struggling to get it working, just download the original Sketchy Cheats mod, open up sketchy traits.mod in a text editor and paste this: dependencies={"Elder Kings"}

Cheats will then work
