Man, I really hope their next big mod update fixes this shit. Along with the weird added loading times (there never used to be a loading bar when exiting the options menu lol).

Yeah that's why. The skin material is missing subsurface scattering and probably a bunch of other shaders, and for now there's no way of getting that working in the game.

Is it caused by mod tool limitations, similar to physics issues I've encountered with other mods?

Yeah it's very bad, but it's less obvious if you turn off ambient occlusion

Looks good, main issue is the neck seam though. Looks ok in bright light, but very noticeable when he's in shadow.

Updated with physics for the jacket, you have to put on the crownsguard outfit first then this one to activate them.
