The enemy placement seemed more focused on setting scenes instead of good combat encounter, but otherwise decent mod.

there is no way for me to go through the bathroom vent because i dont have the screwdriver and idk, where to find it.

the moment i open first door with the red keycard i get pincered by to bots and there's no other weapon besides the pistol

What do seemingly useless yellowish buttons in the very last room do (or that 3rd one in a room with Haydee lying on Sofa in front of 2 bots).

It's a nice map so far but I'm having trouble making much progress because aiming for the enemies tiny weak spots is hard for me thus I waste ammo and eventually I have to start over from scratch and try to aim better because I get killed.

I understand this game is hard I'm fine with that but I don't like feeling as though i'm being punished for things I might not be able to control. If you don't want to add any more ammo that's your choice all I'm doing is leaving some feedback to hopefully help this mod improve.

Anyway I'll keep at it with any luck I can soon fully enjoy not only this mod but the base game too.

Nice map, it took me 99:55 to finish without looking for any guide. But it is still very dark even I have put on the night vision. I think this is the only shortcoming.

How can I get the green card in the office? I can't open it in the office. I can't open it from the roof down the opposite passage.

Yeah there's a couple cards in that room, one in the tub and one on top of the locker that's fucking hard to actually pickup

Just found the edith guide, for some reason it wasn't tagged in the mod or workshop section, I feel quite foolish

(2) easily to a seasoned modder but this is a first effort for me. If you'd tell me how to do that super simple stuff I would be very grateful and I might even write a guide so you don't get bothered by other people in the future considering you're one of the only good map makers, but if you're too busy I get ya, might figure it out on my own after a while. With so little resources though this is much more impressive as a first map, looks like the Taj Mahal compared to my shack of shame

(1) Okay you're right, I did find it, I speedrun that section so fast I guess I forgot about it since I'm in and out of there within the first 3 minutes. As for the modding it's not even learning specifics, I can't even figure out how to make a functional mod as I have no idea how to make a scene, I followed your guide as for making the .game files and I just tinkered around with the map until I figured out how to at least place still bots some geometry and a spawn point, but it's still non-functional and I looked in the guide section but yours and the unpacking one were the only guides I saw. Maybe it's just stuff that comes relatively

The button to unlock the grate is behind another cage that you must access through the dark attic room and bathroom. As for the Silent Hill gun shop, the player is out of luck if they happen to run past it as they spawn next to it. There is one guide that I found in the guides section that helped me out. Most of it was trial and error plus there is still cool effects that I don't know how to utilize but the guide should get you started. Make a basic room and the go from there. Someone on YouTube has been posting some videos but I don't know if they are a map maker that has published a mod yet.

I spoke too soon, I assumed there would be a plethora of resources to learning how to make a map but there was not, your simple guide on just how to start and then upload the finished product is about all the useful stuff I've seen, it's possible I'm just being to specific in looking for Haydee specific modding, any good starting points you'd point to?

Yeah I think the issue is that it's completely inaccessible, I found the great I think it's behind, but you can't even get close to it and no switch I know of makes it open either, it's got some weird geometry, other than that yeah that's pretty fair, the other stuff you've put out has been a lot more fair, still frustrated with Silent Hill though, I don't feel like sprinting to the gun store should be mandatory especially since people won't know where it is first time though. At least it's not as bad as the f-uckbot academy guy putting the NVG at the bottom of a pitch black pit deep enough to instakill you at the tutorial though. Anyways, I enjoy your shit, keep it up man, might design my own map too just 'cause of you and your great work

The saves were implemented based on how fast I believed the map to take and since this is the only map I didn't do a big update for many of the problems were preserved as it was my very first map mod. The SMG is an optional item but I assure you it is in the map. If I am not mistaken, its in the attic area about the pink room with 3 beds

Why put in saves at all with so few, I can speedrun the whole map now with how much I needed to restart anyways, also what's the point of the two yellow buttons at the end? Heads up to anyone yellow button in the pink room by the green pool room adds more bots to the purple room above, be wary of spamming it. Plus why the hell did I have over 3 stacks of smg ammo only to never get one????

ok, my review on this level. first of all, needs more floppy drives. I just died at what I believe was the end of the level and my last save was a good 20 minutes before. 2nd, the little opening that the pink card opens is easily blocked by a robot corpse, and took me a solid 5 minutes to find. Yellow and Blue cards were the hardest to find (didnt look at the description either). overall a very fun level, the lack of times to save is a pain in the ass though.

You have to enter from outside. Climb the rooftop
