glad you enjoy the terrain, my terrain is mostly trenches and craters, mammoth did preety much everythin else lol

@Stavik 16 on Red, 24 on Blue for balance purposes :) I should clarify that as this is a conquest map, those 16 and 24 will respawn. However, the pre-placed red soldiers will not respawn. Of those there are not many, perhaps as few as 10.

Hey guys, now that the new update is dropped and we're able to update maps again, I imagine me and Vipers might well try to tweak this. I've already added ammo and med kits to the flag capture points. Watch this space :)

@Eyalonsky That's a good point, and one we didn't consider. As the player can swap load-outs after dying, and can also respawn in 5 seconds, the thought of putting additional weapons, ammo and medkits into the map didn't really occur to us. In hindsight, I can see why it would be very helpful. Nothing worse than having just taken a point, and finding yourself with 10% hp and 0 ammo!

We'll certainly ensure there's lots of goodies thrown about in our next project.

@Red King That's my fault, as I was the one primarily tasked with ensuring balanced game play. I wanted the map to run as a standard conquest map, and as mentioned, only added the Red troops on the front lines to act as a stumbling block for the player. I played tested it thoroughly and thought it was actually quite exciting, but then maybe I was biased lol :D

Have a look at Viper213's Ironcrad Conquest map. That has explosive action right from the get go. Is that the sort of thing you're after? In any case, we'll keep it in mind for when we do our next map.

we will look into that in the future, if i remember correctly i experimented with it a lil by adding a gun at the small supply depot. near the hut. we will try adding medkits and stuff next time ^_^

while i accept your opinion ^_^ i would have to disagree, while there are only a few units to start off thats to slow down the player so they dont just romp thru the entire battlefield. however if we placed any more units (from personal experiance during testing) it becomes near impossible the cap the flags before your tickets vanish into thin air. its why we added mortars and mg nests :P

your welcome to adapt the map to your own needs by the way add as many helicopters as you so desire mah dude

the map was cool in my opinion. but the gameplay seemed dule. Like there was no real action right away. Not trying to put any one down thats just my opinion
