ty, can enjoy the mod without having to fear punk rocker pirates turning up in there denim waistcoats now. ;)

@Pelador Looks like there was an update to how the game claculates armour. Thanks for letting me know. It's fixed now and tweaked a teency bit
Pelador 29 Nov, 2018 @ 6:21pm
I think you need to check your base material armour multiplier values: Denim currently has a value of armour sharp - 2200%, blunt - 1200%, heat - 3500%. Making clothing made from denim significantly better protection than some glittertech armours. I supect its a typo issue of course and you have made them 10 times as much as intended with the applied values. Also with denim being a plyable cloth, if the itended value for blunt is 120%, I would review this value with a view of reducing it, since it should have more of a weakness here as a softer textile.

@FrostyCaprica Thanks so much! Glad you like it

Much glee clapping over here, and also, trying to stifle the giggles (it's just after 6am on the west coast, and I think my spouse wouuld appreciate it if I at least left the room before cackling maniacally) - all because of the Canadian Tuxedo. Or, as I call it, 'The Outfit Dad Wore Through The '80s' - and I'm sure you can say something similar (there was also that year in high school where I wore denim everything (except, of course, for the t-shirt and socks, which were both fluorescent) - what year was this? ...2002, of course! *shudders at her lack of fashion...anything during her formative years*).

Lovely mod, lovely denim, goes very beautifully with Brad's Plaids. 10/10

The mod's tagged as 1.0, but does it work with the final 1.0 build currently on the unstable branch? I just want to avoid old tags on mods causing problems for players.

lol
Jamity  [author] 25 Jul, 2018 @ 6:05am
@Pope lol yeah I bet that was a bit weird
Pope 25 Jul, 2018 @ 5:56am
Thanks for fix. Loosing thumbs due to hyperthermia during a heat wave was weird.
Jamity  [author] 25 Jul, 2018 @ 4:01am
Annnnnddd that's what you call a typo, folks! Thank you so much @Pope for pointing that out. Updated and should be fixed.
Pope 25 Jul, 2018 @ 12:56am
Hmm this textile has "negative" Thermal values( -1500% ) which causes pawns to get hypothermia over time. Even if it is sunny outside...

@Deyon Yes, I think taking a look at Yes, Vehicles is a great start. I think I'll also look at the Rideable Animals mod, compare the two, and see where that takes me.
Deyon 24 Jul, 2018 @ 1:33pm
i know right! i got the feeling i am the only one considering this so i needed to share it. it would be awesome, programming is indeed hard and it is brave for you to even try it but there are people out there that could do it, i also put this message in the mod "yes, vehicles" since he has experience with vehicles, from there, more experienced people could pick up from there.
Jamity  [author] 24 Jul, 2018 @ 1:30pm
@Deyon Well you certainly got me thnking. My programming knowledge is limited at the moment but I'm learning. I have a couple leads to how this might work and if it can... ooh boy
Deyon 24 Jul, 2018 @ 1:26pm
i would like to spread awareness about rimworlds NEED of boats/ships/rafts. the only way to cross the world is by walking, with a few mods by horse, i have seen a few mod with vehicles but they are nowhere near functional. you can cross the planet by air, but it would be quite great to be able to make docks, harbors or even drydocks to make anything from rafts to big ships, you could go anywhere, with big ships you cant go through small rivers ofcourse but this would be a great addon to this game, why not build a ship in which i can trade, this is a roleplay game after all, you could add small incidents like a rope snapped, you lost 30 survival meals to you hit a rock and scraped the hull (creates map with island with a shipwreck and the crew of the ship) i know there are some people out there that are able and i might have given them inspiration. after that cars would be great, maybe even trains
Jamity  [author] 24 Jul, 2018 @ 9:40am
@gasses888 Done.
gasses888 23 Jul, 2018 @ 4:34pm
Here I was hoping to see a Canadian tuxedo... lol
Deyon 23 Jul, 2018 @ 3:52pm
cool! thanks for sharing ;)
Jamity  [author] 23 Jul, 2018 @ 3:42pm
@Deyon Made a pawn using Prepare Carefully and edited the background out. Then I made a blank image, coloured it, and threw the pawn on top.
Deyon 23 Jul, 2018 @ 3:02pm
the pictures look great, good luck on that jacket. you also inspired me to make a rimworld profile picture, how did you do that? drew it or did you screenshot a pawn? the wehrmacht soldier from heroes and generals is getting boring xD
Jamity  [author] 23 Jul, 2018 @ 2:59pm
@Deyon Thank you, my dude. May have started a little bit on the jacket already...
Deyon 23 Jul, 2018 @ 2:33pm
i totally support you! you should try to make that insulated wool jacket, 20 wool + 70 leather/textile = awesome jacket (just coming up with ideas i am very bad at scripting and/or modding)
Jamity  [author] 23 Jul, 2018 @ 11:24am
@Deyon More pictures are on their way! Also, *love* the "denimstrand" idea. Thanks
Deyon 23 Jul, 2018 @ 11:18am
more pictures please? i like this mod alot! could you maybe think about a devilstrand branche? Denimstrand? ;P (denim mixed with devilstrand at tailor or something)
