you could also turn off foliage and lower the view distance to 5km:P

Unfourtunately; or fourtunately, depending how you see it,. I have recently optimised this map as best as can be done. I already have reduced the projectors used from 39 to 4, and reduced the amount of gravity gens used by 4, so unlesss I find a way to replace the projections, the world is as optimised as can be.

first you start with about 300 hydrogen thrusters pointed toward an ice lake.....

actually it uses a gravity imabalnce at the waterline to make objects float
