You still need to make up that 50 though.
SkiRich  [author] 10 Sep, 2021 @ 3:13am
It means you have a shortage of 50 in your grid. At that setting your batteries are able to supply up to 20 units of current per battery. That does mean they will just throw out 20 unless there is a demand. You either have other batteries in the circuit each contributing to the demand or something is giving you juice.

not sure this is working properly. I've left the batteries to 20 discharge max current power is -50 but all buildings still operate? unless i'm missing something on how this is supposed to work

Minor update to fix a reported bug. Thanks Rusty.

Not this mod, but it would be possible to do.

Hello...!
Just an idea. Do you think that this booster, even Atomic Accumulators could be placed inside domes like the solar panels...?
like the idea of a power dome...

I think that would be possible. Great idea.

Is it possible to add the ctrl function to these Sliders?
So you dont have to adjust every single storage unit manualy and instead swipe one and done?
Literally took me about 10 mins to set my Backup/Reserve AAs up lol

Beside that "minor Inconvenience" I think this Mod is really well made and the balance aspect is solved hilariously simple i love it!

Keep it up mate really love most of your work!

Mod updated, fixed davinci path issue, icons restored.

@Blade. That’s how this should work. Since I made the change you might need to go into your batteries and just move the slider from where it is back to default and then back to max. The effect should happen in moments to show you the discharge at max or at least at the max needed at the time or the the max stored power of less than the discharge rate.

what it should be is if you have power stored and you don't have enough power the game should draw from that reserve until it[s empty and not give you any buildings with no power etc UNTIL that stored power is completely empty. right now the game doesn't seem to do that even if you have 200 stored energy it will still shut buildings down saying they have no power etc.

Follow up. If you have something specific in mind you wanted to see added let me know. I was going to add more stuff anyway.
SkiRich  [author] 26 Jul, 2018 @ 12:37pm
@Blade. I see what you mean. That’s sort of the point of battery tech. If you change the slider to discharge the battery at max the battery will discharge at whatever rate is needed up to the max. So if all you need is 40 units and you have it set for 60 then 40 units will discharge unles you need more or get more demand. It will discharge as much as the battery has stored. So if the battery drops below the max setting then the discharge will reflect that. Just like a real battery.

i still don't understand about the discharge rate. if i set it to 60 it should add 60power to my grind right? it doesn't seem to be doing this it just discharges really quick becomes empty and than i get power outages?
SkiRich  [author] 25 Jul, 2018 @ 10:51am
@Blade, I made an update to the logic for the power thread, that may help with what you are seeing. Take a look. I can get discharge rate to get pretty high in all the battery types in my save games. I updated the text above to include a section on delay. Note the delay.
SkiRich  [author] 24 Jul, 2018 @ 3:29pm
This allows the batteries to discharge faster. If you still get no power on a building then it’s sonehiw disconnected from the power grid.

how does this work because i set the max output to 60 there's 100 stored power but buildsings still come up as not enough power?
