@Neco-Arc No, we didn't include any music, since we'd have to include the raw mp3 music files, as far as I know, and that.... would get into many muddy legal waters haha. Most of the music is very likely copyrighted, so that's kind of out of the question.

Hello, i stumbled across this mod and i am extremely interested in this particular pack. Is there custom music that plays for each civ? I only ask because i often find some mods which have a lack of music and that makes the game feel very empty.

For some reason I can't get this to load by itself, but the standalones work fine, which is cool. I was just wondering if you were ever going to release the other leaders as standalones?

Mmmm, Queen Bee and the Hive are a pretty good one. It'd be fun to think up something cool for them! But, there's probably a few I'd do before I would want to do the Hive. It's on the list, but there'd be things ahead of it.

doesn't seem to want to load when I have other civ mods enabled. says failed to load content. any idea how to fix this?

I/we considered doing a ton more civs, and of course the mutants were on our list. We just kind of burned out on the game and on modding. I might get into it again when Civ 7 comes out or something.

now we just need a TSL map from the DC and marvel universes and possibly more nations from those worlds. also for some reason stan lee civ has never worked for me but everything else does

FYI, the original plan was to release each civ as its own standalone pack, like we did with the few we have, just to get more eyes on the mods, and more traffic to them. That petered out pretty quick, obviously.

And I did look into ways to set leaders to be disabled/enabled easily, instead of having to check off 100 different boxes... But there was no good way I could find for that, unfortunately. I tried to set up like "DC only" and "Marvel only" rulesets, but they just caused game-breaking bugs.

I wish there was a way to disable some of the variants of the characters. I can appreciate you adding them for the sake of continuity/diverse playstyle but it just makes the character/civ list feel bloated. I genuinely don't see the point in having 3 different versions of Tempest or Mystique when those characters aren't even that popular to the casual audience in the first place.

I also wish there were more separate character packs to pick from instead of having to download this main file, others seem redundant as well. I would've loved if there was a separate pack just for the Speedsters, or maybe a pack just for the core justice league members, but instead there's one for the "shazam family" which only consists of a single leader/playable character. What is even the point of that? Shazam fans are probably happy about that but there should either be "packs" for every character like that, or none of them. Don't pick favorites because that's unfair to the rest of us.

Haha yeah, very different playstyle. Just build warriors and stuff and hunt down your neighbors! At least Harley also has a version for the Sirens, if you want to play her with a different style.

Thank you for the advice author, maybe that civ has a steep difficulty curve to start, but then gradually gets easier (somehow). Tt's a huge challenge for me to go attacking city states right after starting the game, just in hopes of getting a few builders out of it.

But as you said, maybe the increased utility of capturing clowns does snowball after getting a few. My playstyle leans towards creating lots of builders THEN attacking other targets -so this civ may not be for me :D

@metronome, if I remember, they're supposed to be a domination-focused civ. All of their units have a chance to capture enemy units (not barbarians, I think) as Clowns. So, constant fighting, getting clowns, using clowns to fight more, etc. You might also try leaving civs/city states alive but in a perpetual war to get more clowns for you.

Does anyone have any tips on how to survive playing as Anarchy League when the civ doesn't have a religion or enough Faith to buy the builders (the Clowns?). I'm new to this mod and can't figure this nation out :(

Something I'm curious about - Thor's Agenda is called The God Butcher. Is this intended? It feels weird to have that named after one of his enemies.

okay so long story short, my boyfriend really wanted to play the anarchy civ but it wouldn't run. i tried to pick it apart with 0 modding experience and got really frustrated. turns out! super civ vi just isn't compatible with the BBG mod! the amount of effort you put into this mod is no joke, though. thank you for your hard work! ♡

Love this mod btw, would love to see an alternate version of the wonder woman mod with Gal Gadot's wonder woman...just throwing that out there:). Tried making one myself, but I always encounter problems within modbuddy

Yeah, those were some of the more experimental units we tried making. A very different way to play, but yeah we might have leaned a little too far to make sure they weren't oppressive. Hopefully they were fun to try out, at least!

Here is best I can remember and some standouts.
Deadpool's unique units and Zod's unique units were underwhelming and a bit underpowered. The lack of corps and armies with them certainly did not help. Me and a friend avoided them during a playthrough after we had more success with regular units.

The Klyntar's symbiotes are a bit underwhelming They probably need a production reduction or a buff. Venom feels underpowered especially when compared to Carnage as a result of symbiotes feeling too costly to produce.

Love your mod. I still use it every now and then, but I can’t help but notice after so many play throughs that some Civs/leaders are quite under powered and some Civs unique units are not even worth building. Any possibility on giving some of these Civs and leaders a buff?

Very cool mod, just wish the hero and villain civs, could actually build the units they are playing as. Example- Batman civ, can build batman civ, iron man can build iron man etc.

Hi! It seems the +100% xp with Raven doesn't work. I tried to attack a city with my religion, +6xp, I tried to attack one with the same unit that wasn't in my religion, +6xp too.

I had suz of Kabul (that also double the xp) in my game, so maybe there is a conflict there?

I was really exited about the game, because I went for relics religion, I thuogh I could quickly level the Homo Magi to lvl 4 to generate tons of relics, with Crusade on top of that and the amelioration that spread my religion each time I kill a unit...

But sadly, the 100% doesn't work.

It seems it does work. But loading times seem to be at least twice as long. Other mods don't seem to be the issue. Still, I can work with this

I don't think it works for me. Any time that i have the mod on, starting a game just leaves me with the black loading screen. And it just doesn't finish loading ever

Why people would take a recommendation that gender should not be included as an attempt to "not easily offend easily offended children" is really beyond me and sounds like someone just chose to get triggered LOL.

Anyways, I am so pleased to see this mod has been updated. Thank you, I truly love and enjoy this mod so much.

Eh, I'm sure there's some method to do "boy" vs "girl" based on the gender of the leader... but I at least have no idea how to do that, haha. Either way, calm it down.

As for more civs or leaders or whatever... Not likely, as you could imagine. But.... maybe... but probably not.

Yeah, I wrote that dialogue 5 years ago. My writing has probably not improved much since then either, though yeah, references to gender should be cut.

Also it's a bit odd how Captain America refers to you as "boy" and "man" regardless of who you're playing as 🤔 imo the dialogue shouldn't specify gender

@luei33 Ended up playing a multiplayer game with this mod and it worked great. Wasn't using any other mods apart from extended policy cards but went through a whole game without any desyncs or other issues.

Awesome to hear!! I don't think I have much Lua, so there shouldn't be much that could break. (love the modding flexibility in this game!)
