Don't think this mod will be updated any time soon. No Rain Indoors is an alternative mod I found which does the same!!

so can confirm adding this on a siptah game load causes fatal errors. not sure if its the floatsum building or the map itself.

anyone know if it works on siptah.

I love the wet animations on characters a shame that this disables it.

Works fine for us. Dedicated server, amd/amd system and intel/nvidia system. Last mod in load order.

Fatally error's the game constant

So strange it suddenly stops working. I am getting rain effects on character body in the snow area. I put the mod to the bottom of the list, it somehow still doesn't help.

Could not make sense out of those comments, the mod is not a server problem nor is it not stopping wet slick. When comments are flat wrong....

why did you delete all comments with issues from yesterday? and your comment about hacked server?

See last screenshot. This mod does what is intended, no wet slick. If there are problems with your sandstorm, they are probably not a result of this mod. There is a player on my server whom somehow gets admin rights (though a hack I would imagine) and has been causing all kinds of mayhem from bombing the server to killer sandstorm in player start.

Doh, just got a report from a player on my server that the sandstorms are broken. Going to recommend not using this mod until I can figure this out... what was a simple table change has now become a weird bug.

Thanks for the update :) I will try it again, and wonder if it was not the mod but just coincidence that something was wrong with sandstorms with a game update at the time.

This was updated yesterday and tested. No invisible sandstorms seen also since update, which had not happened for a while actually.

I just got the "invisible sandstorms" effect noted on page 2 of the thread, is that happening to anyone else still? I really enjoyed the removal of the wetness effect that was really a drag inside buildings, but others on my server wanted the sandstorms so I had to revert. Just checking to see if others experienced this too still or if it was some fluke perhaps?

@Berry - I imagine the solution they will make will include wet slick on the player fix. Anyway, my hack here is a shortcut, not a solution.

I just read that funcom put this issue on back log and most likely will not be fixed....it looks like your solution may be the only one available, thank you for this mod.

I just had a thought about how to maybe actually fix the wetness issue. Would it be possible to tye the wetness slider or what ever it is to the Shelter value? It wouldn't be perfect, since you can have partial shelter without a roof, but it would still help. Maybe. Just a thought I had while discussing the mod with some friends. Either way, thanks for your effort and have a great vacation!

It is better than rain inside a structure or a cave IMHO. I can live without my character getting wet when swimming or out of doors. That is common in many of the games I play. But the rain always stops when you're actually inside a building, cave, etc.

@StrayGenius don't get me wrong, we love your mod, I was just correcting DarkHawk. I mean, come on ! 8,000 susbscribers ! you rock man !

I've been over this argument. If Funcom fixes it correctly that's fantastic. However this patch is not a fix, just a dryness on the surface of things. Even without this, you don't get slick swimming, so yes, a real fix would be harder.

@DarkHawk is not fixed tho. You should get wet on rain when outside, this is a small "fix" only.

I really like how my armor looks when wet, and the outside of my base.

It is a shame that it took a community modder to fix this seriously immersion breaking issue. Thank you for this. I have just subscribed and I am looking forward to seeing this in game!

I use 2 other mods Conan coord's (for the smaller grid pattern) and lts compas for obvious reasons. It would be great to see similar in StraysFixes to replace both the above.

My best suggestion is to alt-tab out of Conan Exiles after starting it and getting to the main menu (where you see join game and solo play) and editing your mod list file manually. On default paths this is
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Mods
"modlist.txt"

And the entry for StraysStayDry is...
*C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\440900\1454643205/StraysStayDry.pak

Also, try unsubbing the mod, restarting Steam, and subbing again to force a download.
If all this fails and you are logging into a server online with mods, it's more than likely that the server's copy is old, not yours.
