i'm pretty sure the issue is that if you try to spawn it in uppercase (like in the description),it wont work if the ID of the item is in lowercase

Sounds like some sort of mod conflict, as "mlgs" is the right ID for it. There's probably something in the logs that'll let me tell you what the issue is, if you wouldn't mind sending a pastebin of it to me?

Hey just a quick question for @Mohl . The sword doesnt seem to be able to be spawned in, I've tried using the id "MLGS" and it just gives me perfectly genaric cubes

sorry if I was a bit of a dick, I just wanted to check out the sword seeing if it was worth it to get in my modded playthrough. I'd willingly try to get something if I know what I'm getting. simple visuals doesn't show it's damage output, even when I mostly use weapons because of their visuals. after seeing the sword, feels worth it for my Indix Pontiff character.

That said, please look at the descriptions before asking a question. There's a decent chance that if it's something minor, I already addressed it.

I just have little to no patience for easily-answered questions (or ones that are already answered with even the smallest glances. For this time though, I really should've expected nobody would abbreviate the name, since none of my other weapons (nor most if not all vanilla ones) have their names abbreviated. See the death scythe for example, where a guy asked how to get it, even though I stated exactly how in the description.

Aye, never seen anyone use an acronym for an item id, since it can be confusing. But if it's just for one item then it's all good, saves space and time typing the whole thing.

Starbound's never used acronyms for it's items, you're guiding moonlight is probably the first implication of so.

It's MLGS.

MoonLight GreatSword. The acronym that's been used for the thing for over a decade now.

Also, if you're eagerly awaiting a FU version, you're just awaiting disappointment, because I don't make FU specific versions of my mods. You should be able to use the vanilla version, when I get around to it.
