For all those who can't end wars... go here

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stellaris\common\war_goals

Open up War_goals and Event_War_goals

War goals is base game
Event_war_goals is mod

Copy the bits you need from War Goals to the Even War Goals file and save. (Make backup before you do).

hello, my friends and I have noticed there is a bug with this mod where humiliation wars cannot end. We can't sue for peace or anything and both sides are at max war exhaustion. Is it possible to fix please? this mod is great and is an essential in my opinion!

Forgot to mention that, aside from literally every empire joining the galactic community, it works fine.
Elias Auxilibus 11 Aug, 2020 @ 4:33pm
This does something weird. After adding this I now have fallen empires, fanatical purifiers, devouring swarms, and other such empires have joined the Galactic Community.

It's really weird seeing the Prikkiki-Ti in the Galactic Community.

update please

Can you remove the dumb restriction that I can't get a vassalize casus belli for an empire that's already in war? Why would my despotic slaver species want to wait politely for their turn to go to war with their soon-to-be subjects, if they can just double team them and have an easier time beating them?

flube - No. Going to start a new game once it rains on my summer vacation and test this. I have never started a humiliation war so haven't noticed that. Rivalry worked when I last played.
If this is still an issue in 2.3, please post exactly what you did/tried including relative strengths, if you were pacifist etc. The goal of the mod is to give increased options that players can choose if they want to, not to remove any options.

I don't know if it's intentional as part of the mod, but it means that rivalry/humiliation CBs/WGs are no longer available. If it's intentional, why so?

I have the same bug, pls fix it xD

I hope this mod works. not being able to declare war because a faction is inferior is ridiculous. Thank you for making this.

Thank you for the bug feed back. Fixed the lib war bug when I saw your comment and went over the files again. Doing a playthrough now and rivaling seems to work as intended now.
If you find more bugs, let me know.

It seems that it is not working correctly. From my play time with your mod, It is making it so that you are unable to rival anyone. Also the casus belli are showing up in the declare war screen however you still need the original requirements to use them. Ex: Need Liberation Wars to force Ideology.
sealjo  [author] 9 Dec, 2018 @ 4:25pm
James - Would be possible. A player might use it in a RP way but I don't think the AI is prepared for that change so an aggressive AI might start rivaling all over and that would make influence gains unbalanced.
James Stone 25 Nov, 2018 @ 2:54pm
Could you remove the neighboring rivals restriction? If the Fallen Empires can have a long range rivalry that lasted millenia yet was so strong they're willing to pull a galaxy into a violent war just to get Round 2, I don't see why your Democratic Crusader empire can't hate the Crusading Despots two empires away that constantly send marauders raiding.

thanks for this mod.works great.even in savegames :)
sealjo  [author] 21 Aug, 2018 @ 10:32pm
Baron Khazadson - Yes. It only changes mechanics. Like when you want to declare someone a rival it makes a check for borders, that you aren't pacifist, your relative size etc. It changes those kind of checks so it's totally save game compatible.
Will work regardless of updates in 2.X unless they change the core mechanics which is highly unlikely.
Ranvork Var'see 12 Aug, 2018 @ 12:53pm
nice Realy like the Subjugation wars can be started regardless of power difference. I hated the fact just becuase they got 10 7k fleets that can be clame to have more power that my 3 70k fleets:steamfacepalm:
Don Boni 10 Aug, 2018 @ 3:43am
thanks!

Is this save game compatible?

Put a jpg in the directory you are making the specific mod in. I made the jpg max 400x400 since someone recommended it, not sure if it necessary. Then link it in the .mod file before uploading. This is this mods .mod-file
