Parry Indicator

They stopped approving new mods long ago because they wanted to switch to a more efficient approving system because it was to time consuming. I fear the half implemented few features, that were inspired by mods, was allready the complete new system and now it's dead.

@[R3VOLT] FuranDuron This mod only works when you have the 'Parry' trait on your melee weapon.
Chosen Sigma 18 Apr, 2023 @ 8:37am
Does not work at all.
Mootiful 18 Mar, 2023 @ 11:53am
Is it possible to set the parry always on? and not only when you have the trait: Parry? since its used a lot in Chaos Wastes Boons.
Mantis Toboggan, M.D. 25 Jul, 2022 @ 7:30am
@Wheel This mod is old. It was last updated before the new "timed block" talents/passives and before Chaos Wastes.

Only works on weapons that actively have the parry trait on them, very annoying
Tamren 5 Jul, 2022 @ 6:40pm
It seems like this only activates if you have the parry trait on your weapon in adventure mode. But it seems to be on all the time in Chaos Wastes mode because CW has a lot of mechanics that interact with parries.
slavepig35 5 Jul, 2022 @ 6:58am
lol i dnt understand why doesnt work to me
in moded work. but official doesnt
Mantis Toboggan, M.D. 20 Mar, 2022 @ 4:36pm
@slavepig35 Yes, but this mod only works when you have the 'Parry' trait on your melee weapon.
Jonny Bravo 6 Mar, 2022 @ 2:56am
it works only if you have the Parry trait on the weapon.. wish it could work even with talents.. would suit perfect on the witch hunter
T-82 16 Jan, 2022 @ 10:47am
Works for me perfectly, thanks
peremptor 16 Jan, 2022 @ 7:57am
Yeah not working for me either.
SuperNar3k 4 Jan, 2022 @ 3:09pm
yeah this stopped working for me and idk why. the color doesnt change.
Mantis Toboggan, M.D. 4 Jan, 2022 @ 12:16am
Works fine here. It even works in the Chaos Wastes when you have the 'Parry' trait on your weapon.
リズベリー 28 Oct, 2021 @ 6:02pm
this doesn't work
Luxord 12 Oct, 2021 @ 2:36pm
It doesn't work.
WhiteRose 15 Aug, 2021 @ 12:11pm
UPD: it worked before, i know. Just now it doesnot...
WhiteRose 15 Aug, 2021 @ 12:11pm
Seems like not working. Or the colour is same as without it, but changing colours in mods' settings doesnot change the situation. I donot see any stamina's colour changes whaterer i do.
May be some patch have broke that mod?
Totalstranger 2 Jul, 2021 @ 8:50pm
I wish that this worked without the parry trait
MrM1005 30 Apr, 2021 @ 11:30am
Having the same issue here. After a while of experimenting I discovered that you can spam left click on the value you want to change and at the same time spam the number you want to add or the delete key. It's not ideal, because I couldn't figure out how to delete or replace the very first number, but it's better than nothing.
_SirFartsAlot 30 Apr, 2021 @ 10:04am
Can someone explain to me how to change the values to a wanted one? When I click them nothing happens, and when spamming click on the number to the green/blue/red field it randomly changes the values. But I have no way to consistently change the values, at least not to anything I want.
「Rfus」 28 Apr, 2021 @ 4:35pm
With random traits in the Chaos Wastes, I finally have a reason to use this.
765 27 Apr, 2021 @ 4:31am
Not showing correctly with Kruber's spear and shield.
Luneyl 25 Apr, 2021 @ 7:01am
Can we have an option to enable this mod even without parry trait?
MrM1005 24 Apr, 2021 @ 1:27pm
So how exactly can you change the color? I know there are mod options for this one with the values for red, green and blue. But whenever I click them and spam all sorts of keys or scroll down the wheel, the values just don't change. It stays the same.

Hey I discovered a small, funny bug when using you mod and UI Tweaks at the same time. It's not game breaking nor does it cause a crash and it only concerns GK and Slayer: if one of your 2 weapons has more stamina shields than the other, then sometimes some stamina shields won't fade out. If you block with the weapon that has the least stamina and switch to your other weapon before your stamina shields fade out, the excess shields won't fade out.
This does not happen when UI Tweak is disabled. However if UI tweaks is on, it's not enough to turn off Parry indicator in thegame settings, the bug will still occur unless you disable it in the launcher.
Anyway thanks for this great mod man !
Dio Aloke 19 Feb, 2021 @ 5:23am
It says 'Loaded before Vermintide Mod Framework". How to fix?
Mishanin 14 Sep, 2020 @ 9:27pm
Why not give the option to enable the mod regardless of whether there is an parry or not? I would have been comfortable playing with color contrast at first, when I just put the block
Almost Psychic 12 Aug, 2020 @ 1:58pm
@Lovebus
It's for weapons with the "Parry" trait.
Lovebus 19 Jul, 2020 @ 11:22am
I've got this turned on and I set the color to full blue. It doesn't seem to be working. All weapons have a riposte period, right?
Sage 8 Jul, 2020 @ 7:16am
Does this work with Grail Knight riposte? He has a talent where timed blocks grant a power bonus.
Gohas  [author] 4 Jul, 2020 @ 3:20pm
It does not tell you when to block in order to perform a timed block. Parrying works by looking for anything to hit your block during a small window at the start of your block. The mod simply changes the color of your block stamina bar for the duration of that small window so you know if anything hits you during that time it will count as a parry. If you have the Parry trait on your weapon you should just see it change color for half a second, then return to normal. Once again, it does not tell you when or where to block if something is swinging at you.
T-82 2 Jul, 2020 @ 1:53am
@Just Bee Yourself
Have You read the description of the mod? It only display when the weapon you are using to block has TRAIT parry.
The mod does not alter anything else, so when you block without this trait on the weapon you wont see anything different from base game
JustBeeYourself 1 Jul, 2020 @ 10:04pm
i dont understand how this is supposed to work. its supposed to turn green when a timed parry block is possible. But if you dont have your block/shield up, it doesnt even display the block markers. And if you already have your block up, you obviously cant perform a timed block.
i dont get it
T-82 11 Dec, 2019 @ 7:35am
@jay,
The coloured stamina shows up only if you have weapon with [parry] trait, thus showing you visually when the effect of the trait ends.
So in short colored stamina = free parry, Just be cautious if you are not the host. As it doesnt factor lag.
Jay 11 Dec, 2019 @ 12:37am
So this is like Kingdom Come: Deliverance? Where the crosshair turns into a greenshield to tell you when you should block for the perfect timing? Or it turns green after a correctly timed parry?
HemmorTV 10 Aug, 2019 @ 9:33pm
Is it working good?
AkaiRam 10 Aug, 2019 @ 12:16pm
Wondering if this still works as intended in patch 2.0 release.
alterNERDtive 17 Jul, 2019 @ 9:52pm
@FAMAS Parry is a weapon trait.
FAMAS 17 Jul, 2019 @ 5:03pm
What do you mean ''putting parry on your weapon'' and ''only weapons with parry activate the mod''? How do I put parry on my weapon? Isn't parry is just a right timing block?
unlockedz 7 Jul, 2019 @ 5:09pm
this crashes my game on launch
泯生 21 Apr, 2019 @ 9:38pm
没效果,It does't work
Tamren 30 Mar, 2019 @ 12:37am
It does work but it was changed so that only weapons with parry activate the mod instead of it applying to everything.
Corvus 29 Mar, 2019 @ 10:07pm
It doesn't work.
T-82 15 Mar, 2019 @ 5:01am
@AlterNERDtive,
Thank You, that fixed it. Mod is working now, it's superb.
alterNERDtive 13 Mar, 2019 @ 11:20am
@t-82 try putting Parry on your weapon first.
T-82 13 Mar, 2019 @ 6:41am
Doesn't work.
I tried tweaking around in options, however I didn't notice anything like showed on mod screenshot, both as host and client.
