Seems to be a steam server problem, the maintenance staff members are doing strange things sometimes.

@Umbra: Maybe it has to do with shadows (size and smoothness). If it's really disturbing you load a snow retexture mod after this mod. It should help.

i really like this mod, but one small complaint i have is that with this mod on, there are many instances where the snow looks particularly ugly, especially at a distance. it gets choppy and strange looking where it junctions with other textures like dirt roads and such

okay and thank you ill retry at the moment been having trouble selecting a few mods cause of how some conflict with one another which idk how to resolve honestly or which ones are bad.

@brianwix7: whatever the maintainer staff of steam do, I have no idea what's wrong. This mod is for the ground textures only. Trees you'll find in another mod.

The mod would not let me download it kept getting an error but looks amazing.

thadudebrian: Sure.. no trouble like this. Remember the load order, load it after Bethesda's Hightexture pack and any DLC.

@quentin.denys32: Me too. It's impossible to play Skyrim with nebulas 2K mod without the right hardware (2GB highend graphic card) and a 64bit OS.

I can't install the HD 2K but even this one is really good

- 'flora overhaul' add new objects (plants like flowers) into Skyrim world
- 'nicer shrubs' is a retexture for grasses, flowers and plants which aren't big trees
- this mod is a retextue for the ground in Skyrim landscape, also ice, snow and roads

how is this different from ur flora over haul and nicer shrubs?

Afaik for a PC systems nowadays, no FPS losses. If you were aware of it regardless, then unsubscribe easily. No script, no content change, pure textures replacement only.

@robert.blane: I'm a totally novice in graphic design. Normal mapping, bumpmapping or UV-mapping that's the same for me. Illusion all the time depends on the lightview to the object. DirectX v9 is using Shader model 3.0 and working on Windows XP. DirectX 10 works on WinVista and DirectX 11 on Win7 first right. Bethesda published the game on 11/11/11 that means at least 5 years time of developement. In the year of 2006 was Windows 7 and DirectX 11 far.. far away. And this game should work for XBOX360 and PS3 too. Cheers..

No problems with this successful and technically innovative modification, works AND does exactly what it says on the tin. Pat on the back for the developer. Bump mapping is MUCH more impressive.
Shame Skyrim is not compatible with DirectX 11

This issue sometimes occurs during upload/download process. Try it again later. The error is a sign of server overload, cannot handle the amount of steam-server requests.

Reply to ЯefleX| : The plain vanilla resolution is 512x512 for most of these '.dds-files' I replace with the modification. It shouldn't breakdown your FPS after using. Cheers..
