These designs are absolutely incredible, I just wish an ACE specific version had been made. They're so well made, but so hard to enjoy when you're an ACE player...

@Trabs heya, I do still read these. That's a problem with the scaffolding engine, try building a ladder to it. Your hearthlings can get distracted whilst building and if they stop to have a conversation or a plate of turnip they can forget what they were doing. I've had a go and I can't get the template to stall. This kind of stall is why I have about 20 scrapped versions of things sat on my game.

hey Quwface, not sure if you read these anymore but im having an issue with the Potters studio. Theres one block highlighted inside a piece of scaffolding and im not sure how to fix it.

@Asher Using the slab tool and setting it to "roof" in the mode option. Then patience. Quite a bit of it at times. Custom rooftops seem to be the number 1 thing that will cause a build to get buggy and hang.

They don't seem to be. Nor does it appear to affect the other faction templates. I haven't played with them much, but I have only seen the problem in a handful of base templates.

I figured it out. At least that particular one is supposed to sit that high. I didn't notice the pathways inside the farm.

I'm having an odd issue with these templates in that they want to sit one level too high (the foundation is sitting on top of the land). Many of the templates I can get to sit properly by doing the shift + < or whatever, but some I cannot. For example, the square T1 farm hovers but the rectangular one can be placed properly.

@DJ After you place the template but before you press build you can move and edit the furniture.

I do agree that it is a bit of a faff though, I will update the template after I have finished the pack I am working on currently. :)

Hey there! I really love this pack, but I keep having the problem of finding and clicking on the wall supply shelf in the Carpenter's House if playing on anything but full building vision. Is there any chance it could be moved across the room to sit over the Carpenter Workbench, where it will be more easily visible and accessible?

(I keep forgetting about it each time I place one and then have about five minutes of why is is exclamation-marking at me???)

@Christ The basic pack for NA is up now, the high templates will be up by the end of January. Walls and Defences somewhere in between.

@Hiramas I get this problem sometimes when I am prototyping new builds. The only fix is to re-craft the items that it is saying it needs. Failing that please post your save to the official discourse so the bugfixing team can have a look before the last patch goes out.

Hey, may I ask a quick question? I have the constant problem that the buildings are not being finished. There are always a few items missing and therefore the scaffolding stays up. But I DO have those items in storage... Any ideas?

Hey @Boz

I have thought about it but due to the way maps get laggy when you get a lot of buildings in a relatively close area I have not put one together. Although the hearth and banner rings are pretty much the template road type that I would personally use with the buildings from these packs.

I will see how the next few performance fixes come through, and how the fixes related to the ACE mod affect the game and put something together if things get a bit better performance wise.

I am thinking about maybe doing some videos with building tips and a playthrough of my packs... I dunno yet on that.

@Zerogoki: I keep getting bugged out templates when I mix materials -too- much but I will be mixing in some stone and brick for the Tier 2 structures.

@Ultranova: I'd want to speak to him about it first.

Before I make any buildings compatible with other mods I want to have at least one template pack per faction.

It is something I have been thinking about however. I'm currently playing without mods so that all my templates are compatible with the base game but there are so many I am waiting to download and play with. Stay tuned I guess.
