I like it a lot. My only problem was that fights still keeps going even with only corpses in it (2 or more)

It makes fights with some of the weakest mobs in game more interesting and unique, but it can be frustrating (not an issue for me).

@Insufferable Smartypants They always reanimate if you let them. You're supposed to take out their corpses before they get a chance to come back.

Do they always re-animate or is there a certain percentage chance to reanimate? It seems to me that having to always kill skeletons multiple times would start to get old fast if it was 100%.

@LyDek Well, the reanimated skeleton is pretty weak and takes quite some time to actually reanimate, and crits are a lot more reliable since CoM so I'm not so sure about it, but I'm rebalancing some stuff right now, so I might consider it once I'm done

I think you should make the crit not leave a corpse like normal, that makes them special (you can make strategies by boosting the crit chance to hope that the skeleton will not be able to respawn)

@estusor I'm not sure since I don't know how PBD handles reanimating. There are a lot of new enemies in PBD though (all the corrupting and hexproof and so on) and they would stay as they are.
Your idea would be possible and also very easy to implement, but I'm not too sure about giving the reanimation a chance, since it already takes a long time for corpses to reanimate. I'm gonna do some testing though

Nice mod :) . Do you know if it is possible to overwrite PBD's way of doing it by placing it on top of it in the load order without creating other issues ?

Also, since you said Feedback appreciated, I'm gonna throw out there my idea, being that the corpses have only a chance to reanimate, but reanimated skeletons also leave a corpse. Just an idea, don't know if it's even implementable ;) see you !

@5katz Pretty much, but the corpses won't reanimate in the same round you kill them, but at the end of the next

@Schleicherfreund Probably. I might try this in the future, but it seems like a lot of work, and it might create some compatibility issues, which is something I'd like to avoid

I figured, I recall people making dungeon specific skins, though, I imagine they erased the usual Brigands from certain dungeons and added custom ones.

@Schleicherfreund Currently only Undead reanimate, if I added Brigands they would always reanimate, not just in the Ruins

I don't think the bearer needs two actions, because in vanilla he would've summoned an enemy either way, so it's less of a nerf and more that the mod is less strong in the bonebearer fight. I believe that's the right way to look at it.

In essence I like the idea behind the mod, it gives the dungeon more flavour and another challenge to account for, instead of making the challenge absolutely encounter dependent. Btw, are non-unholy enemies reanimating in the dungeon, too, I don't think so from reading the text, but just checking, would be neat if the same happened to Brigands though.

Hm, that makes this mod a nerf for the bonebearer, because if he decides to reanimate, instead of buff others, then he's basically wasting a turn on something that would've happened anyways (of course the bonebearer's reanimation is more powerful, but it still puts another target with another action and dmg/crit potential on the board).

Curious about how the Bonebearer interacts with this and how a fight with him in conjunction with this mod would pan out, he's already annoying to deal with as is.
