@chexo4 Neither the Heating nor Cooling EPPs require energy. It's a passive effect, if you are running out of energy and dying on hot or cold planets, it's because you don't have one equipped to your back slot. If you think you do, check that it's in the armor slot and not the vanity slot.

I know, I mean, Heating and Cooling EPP's require energy, and if it runs out, you start to die. Does energy regen increase the time before you start dying?

No, @chexo4, these augments just boost your energy regeneration. If you want to stay on Deadly Chill/Deadly Heat planets, you'll need to craft a Heating EPP or Cooling EPP respectively.

@Lily/Emi You're idea of crafting it is much better than my idea. Most of those items are reliant on luck to get and getting 100 of each of those items will require serious patience and perseverance, which I think will make getting the item worth it due to how powerful it is. Do you have any other augments in mind? Like a 300+ health increase, or infinite Health regen, or a 500+ attack? These could be helpful but like the infinite energy augment extremely tough to obtain. You don't have to do them I'm just throwing some suggestions out there XD

I'll keep that in mind, yeah. I definitely want to get rid of the all-cash purchase option, but I'm mostly happy with the crafting recipe using augments, as that does take lots of luck to get, and as far as that goes I'll probably just tweak the numbers a bit.

I'm thinking of replacing the cash purchase with a secondary recipe at Treasured Trophies per your suggestion, for those who don't want to rely on a daily refresh. I'm thinking 25 batteries, plus 100 each of solarium stars, durasteel bars, scorched cores, cryonic extract, static cells, venom samples, phase matter, and RAM sticks, with an additional pixel cost of 250k.

As for the mod in of itself, 300K pixels at Lana's shop is still kind of generous for an augment so powerful. IMO it should be at Treasured Trophies with lots of hard to come by items to craft it and 500K pixels. For instance you may need 20 batteries,50 durasteel bars,70 refined agisalt, 70 refined violium 70 refined ferozium, 150 solarium stars and 500K pixels. It'll be a real headache to get it, but it'll be worth it. That's just my opinion though, take it as you will, the mod is still great nonetheless. I hope to see more from you in the future.

@turner148 Yeah, I'd thought as much. I'm also considering changing it from simply costing a certain number of pixels, to a crafting recipe made from several different augments. I'm considering a crafting recipe using a combination of an energy 3 augment plus the four different elemental resistance augments as "shielding," along with a few durasteel bars and some solarium stars as fuel.

Actually, that gives me another idea, using actual resources as fuel for the generator. Essentially the effect would be that you can choose to use your materials as ammunition that allows for sustained weapon fire. Such a thing is quite a bit beyond my skill level, though, so I won't actually be implementing it. Perhaps someone more experienced could give it a shot?
