@Rupture veeeery late reply sorry :cozyspaceengineersa: To ignore a door, edit the door's custom data and add this line: -ignore
The script will then skip any doors that contain that flag in the custom data.

as far as i know, put the tag (excluded) in the door name, it should exclude it from the script

any way to stop airtight doors and gates from frostbite to not auto close? ive been using this script for a while now but i dont know if you can do that.

this is exactly what ive been looking for considering i cant get the sensors to work like they should, ive got airlocks everywhere and its annoying having to open and close each door manually especially when im in a ship going in and out of my hangar, hopefully i can get this to work as described

KaH-ZaH!

I will use this script forever! I love it.

yea. idk i like the functionality of being able to have it in hangar doors i just dont like how i have to copy and paste it so much. maybe make it block group based or something? idk. but np good luck

I may be able to ignore doors that are of a specific type, but I'll have to look at the provided functionality to see if it allows me to differentiate between door types. I'll look at this soon, I just have some things keeping me occupied in RL.

@Stuvenstein, isn't it easier to add ignore certain block names and easily add more for example ignore everything with the name "hangar" and "forcefield" or something like that? in the script itself
SimplyySerenity 15 Sep, 2018 @ 5:49am
is there an easier way to stop hangar doors than copy pasting -ignore 212 times

@LeeObee you have to add the parameter to the custom data of the door that should be ignored, not the Programmable Block itself.
LeeObee 27 Aug, 2018 @ 5:13am
@Stuyvenstein, Eg: -Ignore Airtight Hanger Door 1 ...?

@LeeObee I just updated the script so you can use -ignore in the custom data to prevent doors from closing.

How to stop Hangar Doors Closing??
STᑌYᐯᕮᑎSTᕮIᑎ ☢  [author] 8 Aug, 2018 @ 1:40am
I actually like that idea. Currently I use 2 doors for my airlocks. But in my case I set the close delay to 800ms which works nice for opening door 1, stepping through, and then it closes quite quickly, so then you can proceed to opening door 2 without much wait. But I'll add an entry to the 'Change Suggestion' thread for handling airlock doors using a method similar to what you explained. Stay tuned :)

Gonna test this out some day.... When I start playing with air thighness or make ships for future usage in air thighness.... this would be awesome since I forget to close the friggin door all the time and sensor blocks usually require a middle space (for air not to leak) or using button panel n timer which would default the purpose... :) One question, Would be able to make "Door A & Door B" (this is mostly for air leaks) so when Door A opens it disables Door B for X Seconds (Set it to 0.2 second more than Close timer) and then automaticly open Door B and Close Door B after X seconds. And make it usable vice versa.... Name would be Name Door 1X where X would be decide it be a Double Door or not... (Example: Door 1 would be a normal function while Door 2A And Door 2B would be a double door) Subscribed!
