The mods works fine. It only works with the maps Altis,Malden,Stratis,Tanoa and CAWorld. For other maps see the links.

where is the option to change the slider? im using OBJECTS:ULTRA+3 and TERRAIN Ultra but the grass still the same?

Can you make one for UWB Armavir? It has large open field where low grass distance is very ugly lol, but prob one of the best maps using rhsterracore otherwise

hello, i try this mod on altis, whitout the mod i see grass at 150m+-, with the mod i see grass at 310m+-. thank you for this mod you are very nice !

seems to go "only" around 200 meters with ultra settings and viewdistance sliders up.

is it possible to make the vegetation go even farther??

There is code to adjust that.Vanilla values/settings could do with some tweaking, but it is there.

Yes AI can see trou grass. Only bushes and trees block their LOS.

Oh you mean contact dlc? havent played it yet I got few other campaigns to complete first but yeah would be cool if your mod works on the those dlcs too, thanks for your work man really makes the game more beautiful and realistic visually.

Yes. But I can send the config to you, so you could either update this mod. Or release a separate sub-mod of this specifically for the CDLC terrain. And I myself would actually prefer to use your mod instead of my own, as I know you keep things maintained and up to date!

It don’t work. But I created a mod specifically for the CDLC terrain, so if you wanted to update your mod let me know. Also did Livonia as well.

The grass is calculated ingame but it could be refined more i think.But its used for whatever you think of.:)

@Koger, Not sure the CBA scipts is possible with these classes.Maybe in the future i may look into CBA, but not atm.Extending the grass further than these settings begins to get really heavy cpu wise due to other terrain mechanics using these values.Also, I never made a grass heightening.:)

Could you make a CBA setting for how far the grass is rendered so that I can make even it farther 400%
It be cool if you also added in your grass heightening mod into this that I can also increase the height of the grass at will

@pablo.vizzi , Old Man is a pretty big ask for my rig.Maybe its just a CTD related to RAM or sumthn.See if it keeps doing it.If so, try backing something else off in the GFX options.Also, the extended grass effect from this mod should work across the board with the terrain detail options.So normal settings will have more grass than vanilla game.

Very good mod, but for some reason, after playing for about 2' the game crash to desktop..
I am playing Old Man, with all settings at maximun, without this mod i had no problem.

BTW: This is the only mod i am trying to use..

Any Idea?

Np.Thanks for the link.Looking into it.

That command is the same as setting your terrain detail options in your video options.The video options way works fine for singleplayer.Dont really need the command unless you want to load the mission up and have the desired option set to save time and having to remember what was the best setting for that particular mission.But, when in multiplayer, the default setting (25) is the standard setting/value for all players and server (AI) unless set by that "SetTerrainGrid" command in your init section in the general attributes section in your mission in the 3d editor.
Note, view distance works the same.

I found out last night I can "setTerrainGrid 1" if at the start of the mission I press ESC and put that commend in the init box, then press local exec. that appears to work but I have NO idea if that is a good thing to do.

Is there any way to have this mod work on Chernarus Redux as the shorter grass range is quite spoiling this great map.

Well i was running it client side but it didn't work.
