if you have the problem that you dont see the changestat.bat file: use 7zip file manager, extract the file you got, you should get 1 folder with another folder inside of it, and then 4 files inside of that. move those 4 files out of the 2 folders into the folder that has a bunch of random numbers. you can now open the .bat file and change it

One more thing I want to ask is: Is there a numerical limit to this X value?

I'm Chinese. If you can read Chinese, I'll try to speak Chinese.

I'm using WINDOWS 10, but I only have the initial villain as the value I set, and the rest are randomized (that is, the original settings of the game). Is this the case for everyone?
zhi-bin 26 Apr, 2022 @ 3:01am
No matter what value i type in it just sets it to 12
pwtao 20 Mar, 2021 @ 9:38pm
Where should I change in the bat file?
Kyll 21 Jan, 2020 @ 12:27pm
if anyone is still using this, you have to go in and edit it yourself now. the bat file no longer works

Kodi4444  [author] 9 Aug, 2019 @ 4:23pm

@Lark If you were still wondering, you can open the .smod file with 7zip file manager or something similar, and the .bat file is stored inside.
Lark 20 Mar, 2019 @ 9:59pm
Heya. I've run into a bit of a problem... Clicking the folder icon in the stonehearth mod panel doesn't work. Since that doesn't direct me to the correct folder automatically (I have no idea why: It won't launch a folder for any of my mods), I've had to go searching.

Looking into the workshop folder, I've found what I THINK is the Super Mod X folder, but it only contains a single .smod file (SupperModX.smod). Is the .bat stored somewhere else? (like... Appdata? /shudder)
Kyll 5 Mar, 2019 @ 12:17pm
is this working now cause it was broken about a week ago, it would only go as high as 12 and i had it set at 100 originally
Chibi-San 3 Mar, 2019 @ 7:31pm
@kodi4444

Thank you for the help! I already found out how to access the ChangeStat.bat file, but forgot to comment back. I had to set WinRAR to open the .smod file normally.
Kodi4444  [author] 3 Mar, 2019 @ 4:30pm
@Chibi~San
you open the game
click mods
find Super Mod X
Hover your mouse over it and there will be a folder icon click on that and then you will see the ChangeStat.bat file
Chibi-San 27 Feb, 2019 @ 8:00pm
Unfortunately, I am unable to find the .bat files within the respective Workshop mods folder... to change the range between stats. Any help with this?
Maxxident 24 Feb, 2019 @ 8:56am
and how do i get to said file?
Maxxident 24 Feb, 2019 @ 8:53am
what mod file? is it in file explorer?
Kodi4444  [author] 7 Jan, 2019 @ 1:36pm
@ZAmbE yes the mod folder for this mod. not the Stonehearth mods folder.
Lenk 7 Jan, 2019 @ 1:35pm
@kodi4444 Thanks a lot. I really wanted this.

@kodi4444 The instructions say to go to the mods folder? The only items in there are the default mods for Stonehearth like Debugtools, Northern Alliance, Rayya's Children, etc. I had to poke around to find out where it was.
Lenk 5 Jan, 2019 @ 2:33am
@kodi4444
I like the option where you set each stat one by one. That way i can also give them custom names :3
Kodi4444  [author] 4 Jan, 2019 @ 4:49pm
@Lenkandreki
Yes, but it would not user-friendly.
I could make a mod where you would have to go into the folder and put the names of the Hearthlings and set the stats one by one.
but it would affect the stats of all Hearthling with that name. I think.
would you want that?
or
I might be able to make it so if you named your Hearthling "6-1-6" he/she would get 6 mind 1 body and 6 spirit.
Kodi4444  [author] 4 Jan, 2019 @ 4:48pm
@ZAmbE
I put that information in the description did you not see it?
Zambe 3 Jan, 2019 @ 11:12pm
I didn't see anyone post about it, but the ChangeStat.bat... you get to it by loading the game, clicking on the Mods button, mousing over the SuperModX mod's name, choosing 'Go to File' (the first button) and the bat file is in there.
Lenk 22 Dec, 2018 @ 7:29am
Is it even possible to make a mod so you can change the stats of each individual starting Hearthling to whatever value you want?
TacocaT 19 Dec, 2018 @ 9:51am
Other mod has been rewritten to be compatible. Thank you ! :steamhappy:
MrBlazzar™ 17 Dec, 2018 @ 11:24am
nvm it was due to another mod that changed the size of the backpack.
MrBlazzar™ 17 Dec, 2018 @ 8:19am
For some reason the pawns that join me have random stats lower then the value I set. Is this intended?
Kodi4444  [author] 24 Nov, 2018 @ 3:27pm
@Shiro
It does not affect the monsters at all.
But that gives me an idea. Muhahah (evil laugh).
hllshiro 23 Nov, 2018 @ 10:32am
I want to know if a large change in the value of a resident's Mind Body and Spirit will rise the difficulty of the monster in the game. I did not find any information on the Internet.
Ethorin 18 Nov, 2018 @ 11:04am
Right, I found it after I sent my message, thanks!
Kodi4444  [author] 17 Nov, 2018 @ 10:14pm
Ethorin 17 Nov, 2018 @ 7:38pm
Is there a way to make the value between 2 numbers like having a random value between 2 and 10?
Seleas 25 Sep, 2018 @ 5:16pm
You're amazing. Thanks. :3

Kodi4444  [author] 25 Sep, 2018 @ 3:01pm
Seleas
if you set the max to 1 then its imposible to get more than 1
but i could make a mod that set all your hearthlings to 1 with the max being higher than that
Seleas 24 Sep, 2018 @ 4:26am
After trying them, it appears they do not work together. My hearthlings would not train their stats anymore. Oh well. :(
Seleas 23 Sep, 2018 @ 4:23am
Thank you for this. I'm using MBS, and wanted a mod to go with it to make the game more hardcore. Now I can set all my hearthlings stats to 1, and have them work it up to 6. :3
Kodi4444  [author] 16 Aug, 2018 @ 1:02pm
the number you type into the bat file when you run will be the number of the mind, body, and spirtit of all your hearthlings
generic hooman moat.gg 16 Aug, 2018 @ 7:38am
wish we could do this individually
generic hooman moat.gg 16 Aug, 2018 @ 7:28am
why is the default value 48 and how much do i need to add to that to get a Body Mind or Spirit increase of 1
