PostFX is something which kind of just gets put on top of some video or game. Like a color filter oder even sunrays e.g.
A: NO ,its part of the optional extra mods for ACE
you can manually add any ace optional u want. (they are already waiting in the ACE mods optionals folder.
This is both optional particle and the optional tracer extras for ACE , if u use this u are just getting a second copy on your HDD preinstalled for u.

Some modes require you to use ACE, but I don't know any mods that require you to use Blastcore. Also, I prefer more ACE.
What exactly does this do? :)
