actually I completely forgot this, but it already has connectors to connect to other water plates, so it can be as big as you want it to be

I haven't had that problem, it's probably just Brick Rigs physics.

Unlike other complaints, it isn't very laggy at all. But the problem I was having with this was that the boat that I was trying to put on this "water" only sank. Didn't matter where I was putting it, it just sank. I can't tell if it is just the design of my boat or the holy Brick Rigs physics.

i made some very good water for some boats to go in but its laggy as hell

You may have to do some tweaking to use your own ships, I only tested this with RMS Bricktanic V2 and V3.
