Excellent scenario very good AI traffic no problems got to glasgow on time. Thank you for sharing this excellent scenario.

This was a weird one. I had missing Freightliner wagons which cloning the scenario removed the error message.

I then got the classic clock bug with the clock not matching the ETA time. I went with the ETA. This gave me the "hint" to thrash the final leg into Glasgow and I was on track to be 15 seconds early when all of a sudden, it became 2 minutes early just as I crossed the 20mph limit on the approach. A Class 86 departed Glasgow, giving me a single yellow to clear me into the platform...or not. The points switched as I was crossing it, derail.

I blame DTG in ruining a scenario which obviously took plenty of effort to prepare. Especially enjoyed racing the AI Class 156 on the way into Glasgow. I should revisit this scenario and restrict myself to 60mph on the final stretch.

@Tyrrell ... Its interesting that in 410 days and over 500 subscribers this is the first time a derailment has been reported, why do you think that is? ... common causes of random routing or AI issues are resuming after a save, excessive use of TAB when not required and being outside the time window for the scenario (Speeding/Tardiness) ... however i suspect in this case you SPAD

Sorry, but I can't believe that this scenario is completely tested. At one of the last few points in Glasgow I got a derailment due to wrong point position at length 4.25873 broadth 55.85589 as the error message told me. This is the point upon the bridge.

But except of that problem i have to agree to all the others - it's very nice and fun to drive this scenario.

You're right Kengor, It is a bit harsh and a bit narrow minded of RSC to make the editor so arbitary, personally I dont agree that lateness should have an impact on success, However the editor cannot be configured to give any leeway the programming the way RSC have designed the program means lateness cannot be permitted which is a real shame becuse the inflexibility makes certain types of scenario such as makeing up time on a late running service impossible
RSC have promised much more flexibility in TS2014 we'll have to wait and see if degrees of success will be possible then. As for the scenario itself it can be completed without driving like a spanner, all my scenarios are driven multiple times before converting to workshop and then when converted driven successfully at least five times before publication ... As with almost all of my scenarios they are designed to test different skills, The key to this particular scenario is efficiant braking.

Very good scenario late at one station so got a bad luck message (bit harsh I thought)

Many thanks, Matt. This is an excellent scenario, well put together and most enjoyable to drive. I particularly liked all the AI traffic, and the variety of it. Well done, Sir!

This scenario is not popular enough to warrant uploading a second version just to cater for 150s ... if you would rather use a 150, you can just swap them out with RWtools, I doubt it will have much of an effect on AI encounter timings (but without testing I cant guarentee it) ... if enough people ask for 150s instead of 156s the next scenario I convert to workshop (if suitable for 150s) i may consider using them, in the meantime I have a number of published scenarios featuring the 150s.

hey looks great, can you change the player train and the rest of the 156's to 150's if u hav them?
bob 30 May, 2013 @ 7:04pm
Awesome - thanks so much.

I thought that this was one of the best well produced and realistic scenario's that I have ever "driven".I shall definatley be keeping this one in my library for future use.Well done and lets have another one please.
