Lovely atmosphere, nice unique elements. Had to noclip a lot as exact timing and resetting situations got tedious for my skill level--I do much better with logicy puzzles than execution puzzles like portal 1--but that isn't your fault.

I can't comment on the quality of the map as the map crashes Steam repeatedly even when I set graphics to as low as possible. Would downloading the maps through dropbox fix this issue?

Ok fine. It is a timed puzzle, but I think it's a good one. The hammer skills aren't the best ones but it's better than some stuff I saw on the workshop.

Also I think the yellow and red fizzler have been done pretty well as some sort of "tutorial" here, instead of having their own tutorial chambers. I think this is one of the few good points on the map.

Also, voice acting is surprisingly good. It's a teenager sure, but it doesn't have mic noises and I can hear his voice perfectly clear. Story sounds interesting and I wanna see where it takes me.

@sdrevik What a shame you did so! This collection have very little timing puzzles. You also have to "trust" first and then just act on keypad like on normal button.

Couldn't figure out what the UI was for the keypad, but glad I came here and was crash's comments. I don't like "perfect timing" rooms. Glad I skipped it now. Downvote.

I don't normally comment on Portal maps but this one has me furious right now. These aren't puzzles. It's just trial and error, and getting really good timing. If you fuck up doing something the first time, it makes getting past it 30x harder. That doesn't make a puzzle. It just causes frustration.

I appreciate the initiative of adding voice acting and custom stuff, but if you're going to go all in, you need make sure that the map in a P U Z Z L E game actually has decent puzzles to go with it. Mevious and Demon Arisen are great examples of good puzzles. I would study them if you plan on making more maps.

@| FANTOM | Install the Portal 2 Authoring Tools in the Tools section of your Steam library. You'll get several programs, the most important of which is Hammer World Editor. From there, you can learn how to use it to create things like After Hours. Plenty of tutorials and communities exist to help you.

I dislike games where the mechanics, ie: the physical moves affected by a mouse or reflexes or split second timing prevent one from moving on when I know what is required. Just boring if I can't continue something that is not my fault so the rest of the game is left unplayed.

I think you achived number 1, with overwriting knowledge of red fizzlers.

for the final game, i would recomend changing the textures of the red fizzlers, and explaining what the orange fizzlers are.

nice use of tools, nice style thou i'm not that fond of the repetitive moves you have to make on parts, but thats just me. keep up the good work :o)

Start is good and concept is good. But the main move if frustrating and having to repeat it is even more frustrating. I prefer puzzles you have to think about versus ninja moves that must be repeated over and over if you miss the split second window of opportunity. Hopefully in future levels the puzzles will stear away from that.

Cool idea, lovely setting and voice acting, but the puzzles are way too obscure (for me at least). The first fling alone took me around over 5 minutes, and by part 6 or 7 I was completely stumped. Some signposting could fix these issues but as of right now not very impressive design.

You really faked me out, there. I'm so used to BEE tests that I thought that was a force deflection field, and that the red fizzlers would kill me.
