Can confirm does not work, there are simply less slots than the vanilla one (aka now there are no slots)

You could also go to the Stellaris Modding Den Discord and orphan the project for somebody else to use.

@OGxSnakexEyez I've considered it before, but I think it's worth keeping mods up just so if someone else has the idea and finds it, they can build off of the existing work if they want and can look at my mod's code to see how certain things are done and can learn new things.

I should probably say in the description that the mod's code is free to use, though.

@devillin Probably not, sorry - I've kind of lost interest in supporting mods that I don't personally use. That, along with the fact that I haven't been playing Stellaris recently, means this most likely won't be updated any time soon.

Does this mod also add hangars to Titans? I recall one of my mods did that, and I'm assuming it was this one. I'm also assuming this is why with the new update my Titans have precisely zero weapon slots whatsoever. Will update if I confirm either way.

@plutonianempire You can download my mod by subscribing or use a Steam workshop downloader and take a look at my code if you'd like - I probably ran into some of these issues but I can't recall offhand.

How were you able to make this work? I tried making a colossus replacement for my own mod, but instead I got duplicate entries in the "New Design" dialog and the Total War option is missing from war declarations :/

i changed the version number to get rid of the red !, but when i tested it in game, it didnt have any weapon slots, just the normal colossus ship designer. hope this helps

It will not work with 2.1.3 due to costs of parts changing to the alloy system. I probably could upload a 2.1 version if it's wanted enough.

@The Polite Kitty The very least they could add is either small/medium weapons or just PD and hangars, neither of which(despite hangers using a decent amount of power?) realisitcally use that much power. Whatever weapon it might be even if it's designed for a specific purpose would not be designed without some defense even if it's meant to buy time in some way, and in space any amount of defense is better than none since it's not the same as a ground battle where you can kinda predict enemy movement from one or two directions.

Can you make a mod on four additional slots for Titans weapons? Two H in the middle section + four P in the back. And then the titans are incredibly weak. And strikecraft almost do not use:steammocking:

XL weapon slot is now a Titan-sized weapon slot.

My suggestion would be to swap out the XL slot for a Titan slot as that would more accurately represent the deathstar type weapon that the colossi is meant to be. It never made sense that it couldn't be turned on ships or installations like you can on a planet. Adding a perdition beam would simulate that better than an XL slot. If you want to distinguish it from the Titan beam you could amend the stats so that it does more damage but fires slower and change the name to CoIossi beam or something, make it a new slot but with the same graphics as perdition beam. I also agree that they most likely would not build a superweapon like this without some basic defences so I like the addition of some PD and hanger decks. That also brings it to a more Deathstar like weapon.
