Imho it is just not usable, because it is kinda weird how it calculates how far away the stuff is.
Maybe you should add a spot under misc we can place which the mod uses to calculate the distance from.
Another alternative is another filter like the percent grown filter, but for how distant the plant is from your home base. I think that'd be helpful even without the FPS drop issues.
On the off chance you come back to the comments, would it be possible to add click and drag functionality?
It looks like there are several people below who have noted that it's not possible to click and drag any selections (like you can do in the Wildlife tab/the Schedule tab etc). I believe it's something that can only be added in the assemblies and I have no idea how to read/edit C#.

Plants in hidden areas are not on the list now.
Sorting by name and growth added.
Will try to address your reports and ideat, thanks for the input!
Unfortunately I have not yet found a way how to tell whether a tile is in hidden area.
It might also be nice to be able to hold click and mouse over the flora actions to activate them, like you can with the wildlife tab.
