Sorry it's been a while without an update, I do plan on updating the mod I'm just waiting on the devs to update the devkit. An going by a response I saw on the forums by a dev it sounds like an update for the devkit might be close.

You do need to find a barrel to craft the ES version, the barrels can be found in the coyote ruins along side the sundries chest.
