major update out today regarding collectors, pricing more realistic an they are slightly better at combat now, so should last longer, also a few minor additions, changes and fixes too

im testing balance issues atm with pricing of the weapon variations and npc convoys, i like to keep naming of weapons realistic an similar to the original variation. in terms of a katana, there already exists a 2h katana variation i made that is effective against heavy armour, there is also a slightly less powerful 1h variation too, (find a collector to find out) note; prices are too high for weapons at the collectors atm but a fix is coming

can you make a legendary sword call the muramasa katana demon sword? that is able to cut though armor but have negative influence, or whatever you want with the negative effect.

this mod is not dead, it still works on current version, i will return to it once i find the time (im a uni student, about to start dissertation year) i hav not played kenshi in a while an plan to return at some point

Please add an evil faction. We have the Holy faction and their interaction with you is great. If you praise the god of Shadows or whatever, certain things happen. I figured, maybe we should have a God of Evil or something? Yeah... we have cannibals but no evil. (Unless i'm missing something. xD)

With the announcement and release of map. and 1.0 coming soon. I will try to find time to play it. Test it. And release an update that plays into the style of this new, apparently difficult area. I will update in due course but have no fixed time frame as of yet(personal reasons)

This mod started as a personal thing. To add high end weapon/armour variations. But iv decided to share it to see if i can find someone to help add to this to make a mod that only adds to kenshi. Rather than change it

This mod add new items mainly by duplicating items and editing stats. I am learning but havent got the time to be making textures for every new items. I can make any mod you make work by merging them. So long as items you have edited/made dont clash with anything iv done, it will merge.
I am looking for people to make realistic weapon/ armour textures really to add to this mod. If i had the time to do it, i would teach myself too.
If you do want to see anything in the mod that I can do. Post it in the improvement disussion thread on this page. Ill have a look.
Im currently waiting for a stable version with the new map so i can test and finalise the ashland part of this mod, For the next update

Yeah, there's like eapons galore but for some reason not many actual armors. I did find the skull armor made by arkhiel if anyone's interested. I neither know programming nor texturing/meshing. I do know some basic stuff from kenshi like adding new researches because they edit no core elements and are usual always compatible with whatever you use in your mods provided that said mod doesn't edit any existing vanilla names of such researches.

I like that idea. Problem is. I dont hav blender or hav the knowledge of it yet to make new textures. I do comp sci in uni so programming is no problem. Designing textures is my problem. Thats y iv stated that if any1 would like to contribute. Id be more than happy to see what we can do

you can do, new starts will appear but are optional as the original starts are there still too
as for items, im waiting for the new map section to explore first before i add new item sets but there are a few iv added already. just look for the collectors wandering around

this mod will be updated soon, updates for actual game are coming out fast and therefore i think its wise to wait a while to see how game changes, especially with armour and weapon balances

I think faceplated helmets are in the game already. And i think they are on their equipment spawn list also but there is a low chance because it isnt faction uniform
