Yep, still works

I am using this mod and its working at May/2025.
Just brighter nights as title implies, not by a lot, just enough to get real night feeling but allow you to find things if you are loocking at it reasonable close.
Just what I wanted.
10/10.
Thanks man.

I used the mod and my nights turned darker. It's an old mod so could be that the new versions of kenshi is screwing with the mod.

@Beep

Let me know if it doesn't, I'll see about updating it

I appreciate it, While im not too old yet, I don't like when games are pretty much pitch black and offer no good way to give light.

It's not scary, it's just annoying

This is a older mod but i feel the need to say thanks! My eye sight isn't great so this really helps me see at night without having to crank the brightness up on my monitor!

@Dune
That is an unintended change, I will remove it in an upcoming version.

It's not hard to do, so it didnt take much time :)

This started as a mod for myself that was a mashup of many, so when I split them I may have missed some things :)

This is best when done yourself so you can get it exactly how you like it, but for those that don't know how, or are too lazy, a mod works

PS - just noticed you put up an amplified version for "me." Thanks, I'll load that into my next play session and have a look.

So, Vosh, I played with this some. I did get it brighter, but it doesn't always get implemented when I load the game. I'm not sure why, so I haven't uploaded my version. I did notice while importing yours, that in the "changes" the mod affects, I noticed you'd changed the minimum encumbrance for a character. Was that a test that you forgot about, or is it somehow necessary?

Just open the editor, create a new mod, then load the new empty mod (don't touch anything above the divider in the load dialog)

Then at the top left, hit "Global game settings" and scroll down till you see "weather" under that you want to mess around with "min exposure" and "night darkness"

@Dune Sure thing, though you can easily create it yourself if you'd like

Hey this doesn't seem to be working. It' been really dark in my game play. Suggestions? Or, can you create an even brighter version for streamers? My viewers complain the game is too dark.
