Seriously this should've been how it was when this game originally came out. Awesome job dude. Five stars
Porter 12 Feb, 2017 @ 10:51pm
I love this mod. Without it, shouts feel like a superficial thing 'tacked on'. Pumped up as a big deal, but absolutely useless in practice. Now they fee like real powers that set the dragonborn above lesser people.
Tyggna  [author] 12 Nov, 2016 @ 5:50am
Posted this to Bethesda.net today. That version contains Dawnguard and Dragonborn rebalances.
A_Random_Panda 11 Nov, 2016 @ 6:24am
I have not tried this mod yet but i am looking forward to it and it is exactly what i am looking for.
Vongola_Tsuna 23 Sep, 2016 @ 4:09pm
This is exactly what I was looking for

Fiem was 20 now 20?

"Zii was 30 now 27 and has a short cd--gives enemies chasing you a chance to kill you"

That completely defeats the purpose of this shout. It's supposed to be used like the Scout's Bonk Atomic Punch, just use it to run away or cliff jump without taking damage or being able to deal damage
Mugen 9 Jul, 2014 @ 5:15pm
Well,it just changes the names and the description of the shouts into English. You know, this is a big problem, every time a non-German mod changes something it turns it into another language.
Tyggna  [author] 9 Jul, 2014 @ 4:42pm
Dawnguard is linked in the description, and the Dragonborn one is only half finished. Some of the effects for Dragonborn are nifty, but very similar to already existing content, so it was difficult for me to balance and I lost interest after fixing the cyclone shout (the stat-boosting one I don't feel is in any need of balance since it has a 5s cd with the third word).
Also, I only work on this as I have enthusiasm to do. I only speak 3 languages, so I guess I could try a Spanish and German version in the future--but that'd be all you could get unless someone else wants to do it.
What is specifically wrong with this in the German version?
Mugen 9 Jul, 2014 @ 4:17pm
A version for other languages would be of need. For German,as example.
Tidalwing 8 Jul, 2014 @ 6:20am

Do you have these mods for Dawnguard and Dragonborn?
angry wampa 6 May, 2014 @ 5:12pm
Jesus, thank you for this
WalriderAlp 30 Apr, 2014 @ 5:53pm
Could you make seperate mods that edits the Dragonborn and Dawnguard DLC's?
Tyggna  [author] 3 Apr, 2014 @ 7:09pm
Load order--just move the mod down so it gets loaded after other mods and that should do it.
Kc | Fyckfaco 3 Apr, 2014 @ 5:01pm
I have installed the two shout mods but the timers appear unaffected. Am i missing something?
Timesplitter 3 Nov, 2013 @ 5:49pm

The vanilla cooldowns where often far too long even with 40% reduction is was of limited use. Did you notice that enemies using disarm are now able to disamr you as well past level 50.
ARK Redeemer 21 Aug, 2013 @ 10:52pm
Thank you! I've always been puzzled by the way that the Greybeards, Ulfric, and Draugr could shout on demand, but the MIGHTY DRAGONBORN had to wait tediously long times to shout agian. Thank you for improving my experience!!!!!
T-Rektx 21 Aug, 2013 @ 12:32pm
Oh my gosh THANK YOU! The cooldown on the shouts were so annoyingly long i just stopped using them period... Thanks to your mod Im actually spending my numerous dragon souls for shouts and actually having fun with them. Im gald there is still a short cooldown because no CD would also ruin it. WELL DONE SIR!
Boxed Lunch 10 Aug, 2013 @ 12:40pm
now that i have tried it, the mod has become a must...
Kultag 22 Jul, 2013 @ 4:07pm
Come on, do the Dragonborn shouts!
Airbear 8 Jul, 2013 @ 6:20am
I might download this just for the adjustment to whirlwind sprint because, really you only use it when you need to travel while over-encubered or need to catch a mage that slows you using ice spells etc.
Tyggna  [author] 21 Jun, 2013 @ 9:21am
Yeah, it stacks, and it does make you a little OP. I thought of re-tuning the mod so that the posted values are what you get with all the shout CD equipment but then thought, "naw, destruction magic and one-handed equipment buffs make you OP in vanilla, it's fine"
Palutena 21 Jun, 2013 @ 9:17am
This mod is amazing. But I need to ask, does it stack with Amulet of Talos (the one that reduces 20% time between Shouts)? I read someone saying in page 4 that it would make him OP, but I missed a confirmation.

I'm actively working on two more rebalance mods--one is much more expansive than this and still requires immense playtesting.
The First is the dragonborn shouts. That one won't take too long, I think. Dragonborn only adds 4 more shouts to the game, but I like to spend at least a half hour per shout change playtesting, so it takes a while.
The next mod I'm working on is stupid and simple, but needed. It makes nearly all destruction spell effects available at appropriate skill levels. So, like, a novice-level fireball that deals appropriate damage and magic cost.
RobotKey 13 May, 2013 @ 5:58pm
thanks, love your mods
Tyggna  [author] 13 May, 2013 @ 5:27pm
Yeah, I did the dawnguard stuff a while back, but I wasn't thrilled with it. It's good, but the mechanics behind Drain Vitality are pretty pathetic--I actually had to boost it by a factor of 60 before I saw it do anything in real combat. I still need to do an all-the-way-through playtest on them so I can mess around with it at lower levels.
So, I posted what I have there. As for the dragonborn stuff, well, that's gonna take a while.
RobotKey 10 Mar, 2013 @ 11:50am
You Still working on those Dawnguard shouts? And if I may ask, how about Dragonborn? Some of the shouts added are pretty cool.
Tyggna  [author] 9 Feb, 2013 @ 10:05am
It's pretty good, not to much of a challenge, but better than vanilla
andre.montalbano 9 Feb, 2013 @ 2:32am
Tyggna... wars in skyrim?? How that?
jt_20072007 3 Feb, 2013 @ 1:58pm
do you know if there is something like this with the time of maser spells cast?
Sunless 3 Feb, 2013 @ 3:16am
this... i been looking for Rate+fav+sub!
Tyggna  [author] 8 Jan, 2013 @ 3:22pm
I see what you guys mean with the dawnguard shouts now. They feel kinda useless because of the long CDs with this mod installed. I'm play-testing changes for those now and I'll put a link to that in the description when I feel like they're ready and add to combat.
And just to reiterate: I only play on master difficulty, with Warzones, Wars in Skyrim, and dragon's diversified mods--so this balance is roughly centered around a much more difficult Skyrim.
Sumeron 8 Jan, 2013 @ 2:36pm
Oh I'm going to try this one out, I agree on some shouts the cooldown is just too high but no cooldown is just boring. This seems like a nice middle-way.
Necronomicon-xx 30 Dec, 2012 @ 4:24am
For me, using the Unrelenting Force shout causes the game to crash to desktop. It also multiplies the Disarm shout in the "Shouts" menu (there's two separate Disarm shouts) I don't use any other shout mods.
daemonblade1229 7 Dec, 2012 @ 12:06pm
Cool mod, but some of the cooldowns are too short for me. It might be nice to have an option of normal, shorter, shortest. Like, with a book or spell that opens a menu. Good job, though.
Tyggna  [author] 24 Oct, 2012 @ 5:58pm
oh, sorry, no, none of the NPC cooldowns have been altered. There might be one or two Draugr deathlords that use the same Fus Ro Dah as the player, but the majority of them use the Draugr version of Fus Ro Dah
BlackLaser 24 Oct, 2012 @ 1:08am
yeah why not... if you answer my question^^ pleas...
Clown 3 Oct, 2012 @ 2:41pm
So this is basically useless for any dawnguard shouts, right? :(
BlackLaser 22 Sep, 2012 @ 6:15am
is fus ro dah also reduced for draugr or just for the player?
Sev 13 Aug, 2012 @ 3:38pm
Does this work for Dawnguard? Will subscribe once it does. :)
Frosty 6 Aug, 2012 @ 10:06pm
@Robot Key
Actually if he were to update it to accomodate dawnguard, it wouldn't conflict for those who don't have it.
RobotKey 3 Aug, 2012 @ 4:09pm
If you update this for dawnguard, instead of a update, why don't you just release a seperate file that is this exactly but has the dawnguard shouts updated, so that this can still be used for people who play without dawnguard?
Tyggna  [author] 31 Jul, 2012 @ 2:41am
If you really want to spam, you can always just do:
player.setav shoutrecoverymult 0
That ruined gameplay pretty quick for me, though
