Any chance we could have INI edits, or the ability to block specifics engrams?
Please, somehow this is one of the most balanced tranq mods we can find.
If we could just remove the 15x and 25x it would be absolutely perfect for our server.

(Presuming its this mod) When trying to make the Prime Dart from Additional Creatures2 Mod, it requires a standard default Ark Tranquilizer Dart, which appears to be changed with this mod rendering being able to make the above tranq impossible.

Would it be possible to add an arrow that is equivalent to the Potent Tranq Dart? I find myself being forced to use the longneck over any type of bow. I would like to be able to use both if possible.

Why did the vanilla tranq darts have been substituted? Now I can't make Tranq Spear Bolt and other mods related to the vanilla dart! Really?

Id love an update that allows us to use the arrows with the compound bow and the darts with the fabricated rifle! If its possible to do that with ini can somebody hmu with the code??

This mod is excellent, the only issues are with the pheromone and shock darts being unavailable. Also, your tranq engram is interfering with the others such as the tranq spear bolt. Also for the MK III tranq dart, might I suggest replacing the titanaboa venom requirement with megalania toxin? The toxin is naturally generated unlike the venom and therefore easier to acquire.

SEL mod was pulled, and people were using it for the customizable tranqs as I was. The thing that stood out in SEL was the custom ini torpor adjustment. Us clusters running mods that require adjusted torpor would love it if added the same. 5 server active EC cluster here would love to help test.

Currently the pheromone and shock darts are not unlockable. The mod author is aware and has fixed this issue in the new version. He is currently reworking this mod from the ground up and will be re-released as a new mod. Furthermore, there will be some reworks to numerical values for darts and arrows incoming with a new mod that incorporates new ideas and balance. Such as bringing darts to be more in line with the strength of the new and longer lasting narcotics (3 levels, each increasing the amount of time of the topor effect per level) and changes in crafting recipes to go along with the new materials. This mod is currently private and in testing.

when i use this mod i can`t unlock pheromone or shock dart. it doesn`t matter if mod darts are more powerful

Does you mod mess with the original Tranquilizer Dart? Because here, it changed the image to the green one and now, even when I learn the engram, it won't unlock things that require it (such as the Tranquilizing Spear Bolt).

mk1 arrow, 1 stone arrow 2 narc= 140 instant: mk1 dart, x1 Simple Rifle Ammo x4 Metal Ingot x6 Narcotic = 312 instant and each one just dubbles on every thing for mk2 and 3.

In fact you should do 2 mods for this mod, balanced like my suggestion, where it just doubles everything so we dont have to shot 3 times, and this mod that is unbalances vs the original game design.

You should add a easy way for people to adjust, how much each level does for them to better balance it how they like. Me personally i would like each arrow and dart, to use twice as much as the one before and do twice as much, for a balanced game, basically the equivalent of just making each dart and arrow twice as big as the type before, and use twice the resources, i think that is the best balance you can to keeping it fair play.

Also, would be good for these to be crafted in their own bench. Why? This offers the best compatibility, you don't have to worry about adding them to the vanilla m&p or chem bench when some users might be using s+ only benches (or another crafting mod) and therefore they won't show up in there. Crafting in inventory is, well, lame, slows players down and if crafting many therefore requiring a lot of mats would weigh players down, especially if they don't use stack mods or some other weight altering method from vanilla.
To make it easy and keep mod footprint small you could use the regular smithy model and just make it a different color and/or size, up to you.

Just an idea, either way, thanks for the mod.

P.S. The above concept would work super well with your metabolizers mod as well, for the same reason, maximizing flexibility and compatibility, for any rate or difficulty server and with vanilla or super crazy dino modded server.

How about this for maximum flexibility and compatibility:

Ini configurable values for all MK1, MK2 and MK2 variants, initial impact and effect over time.
Could even add the slow down effect to each variant as a floating point value whereby a value of 0 is no slow at all so it can be effectively turned off for those that don't want it.
That along with the ability for anyone with a little effort to research and find out how to override mod engrams and crafting costs would allow users to have a 100% flexible mod to cater for any type of server setup and difficulty.
Eg. I'd offer up only 3x and 5x variants of arrows and darts (by altering the values of MK1 and MK2 variables) blocking the mk3 engrams, would also turn the slow down off. Would fine tuning crafting costs depending on the server difficulty at the time and the materials available on the map and dlc in play.

Maybe think about using the mortar and pestle for the advanced narcs seeing as how theye got fewer ingredients and the chem bench for the dart narcs. Assembling them either on a bench and/or fabricator of your own or incorporating them into the existing mechanics already in game, not sure how adding recipes works. For the recipes use the same number of narcs as the effectiveness of the arrows +1 or 2 for loss of potency issues while making them, maybe add some spoiled meat, oil, etc for whatever reasons while mixing up the advanced narcotics and some extra metal for larger casement for the narcotics, some extra gunpowder to push the heavier dart, etc etc. And finally, ignore everything Ive posted or pick and choose what you like if you think its bunk or mostly bunk, after all, its your mod and Im certainly not a modder. :-)

Mk1 arrow x2 @ Lvl 34 = 80 instant torpor + (50+) over time torpor
Mk2 arrow x3 @ Lvl 48 = 120 instant torpor + (50+) over time torpor
Ark traq dart @ Lvl 62 = 156 instant torpor + 65 over time torpor
Mk1 dart x2 (ark dart torpor) @ Lvl 70-76? = 312 instant torpor + (65+) over time torpor
Shocking dart @ Lvl 96 = 312 instant torpor + 130 over time torpor
Mk2 dart x3 (adt) @ Lvl 80-90 = 468 instant torpor + (65+) over time torpor + slow 25%
Mk3 dart x4 (adt) @ Lvl 90-100 = 624 instant torpor + (65+) over time torpor + slow 50%

The over time would probably be a little strongerl. Obviously if you wanted the original 900 - 2250 torpor the Mk1-3 darts have just toss this out lol. This just seemed a little more balanced and fit in with the existing arrows and darts..except the shocking dart, which..eh whatever, no no, bad attitude, it does 312 instant + 130 over time, which throws everything off.

Gonna give it a shot. More leveled items is a great idea. More detailed stuff in the game makes it more fun (at least to me). I don't care for primitive+ kinda level detail...but more is better so that slower leveling is still interesting.

@nomoc that will be resolved when the core pack comes out. I have kind of kept it quiet as I didnt want people to install it on servers while testing. This adds coal to base harvest of rocks, then allows for crafting of a coal forge, which allows creation of steel and steel tools. Once steel tools are created you can move on to weapons and use the tools to harvest other minerals from metal rocks. Then create complex automation proceses which will eventually in that version of the mod be used to create all the different tranqs/metabolizers etc.

@Wan199 I cannot (or i dont know how to) make this work with another mod that i dont have access directly to call upon. However this is just a part of a much larger pack I am working on that will include all of those type of items anyway.

@jason mayer I will add spawn codes to description later, being I work a full time job I these project are only worked on during the weekends so sorry for the delayed response.
