** WARNING - THIS EXPANSION WILL BREAK THE MUSEUM FROM THE BASE HED MOD **

To fix follow these steps

1- Either Make changes directly to the Hero Expansion Mod (not advised) or make your own local mod in steam/steamapps/common/darkest dungeon/mods folder (follow the guide from the devs here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=819597757&searchtext=mod )

2- Locate the HED.base.inventory.extra_stack_limits.darkest file in the HED mod located in the Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\262060\1487041709\inventory folder

3- Paste into either the Hero Expansion's inventory folder (not advised) or into your own local mod (which should be at the top of the mod load order)

4- Enjoy fixed stacking amounts!

My game crashes whenever I use hero expansion and hard earn districts. I tried unsubscribing with other mods it seems to work fine but with the other mods they don't work for me.

Sir, when I used this mod, the Musketeer DLC disappeared. This phenomenon is manifested in the disappearance of the special farm weapons of the musketeers and the absence of the Musketeers in the carriage for a hundred rounds. Is this a new bug?

All buffs are found in \shared\buffs\
If you want to edit the actual districts to change things like cost then they're found in \campaign\town\districts\

That's just a small localization error, nothing to worry about.
It relies on a string from a different mod that I must've forgotten to add to the base mod.

Occultist, Abomination, and Vestal are the only special ones. All the other heroes I edited using future proof coding. I would've done the same thing for Occultist, Abomination, and Vestal too but with all the patches adding new districts it just wasn't avoidable.

I have an All-in-One version for my district mods that avoids this issue (mostly) but then you'd get a few districts for modded heroes you don't have, districts where only one hero gets benefits, and you'd have to re-edit Heroes Unchained. Understandably un-preferred but if you start using lots of modded heroes then there's a chance the All-in-One version covers some of them.

Darkest Dungeon modding is really wacky but I won't get into the specifics. Where you want to go is \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\262060\1616018723\ then you'll see the files for Heroes Unchained, there you can make direct edits to the mod.

Occultist, Abomination, and Vestal are the only heroes that my mods edit personally so having mods like Heroes Unchained does cause issues. I covered this briefly at the end of the mod description including a solution.

Do you have my other mods installed such as the Monk Patch and Marvin Seo patch? Those two mods change the Occultist, Abomination, and Vestal giving them different districts.

That is odd, I just kept thinking some random mod I am using was conflicting, but, this is also why your mod is the only package I am allowing with original edit changes.. I switched to All-in-one same issue so just leaving it alone and on in the All-in-one now. Thanks, though.

It's just a small string error, nothing to worry about.
The heroes should still get the buffs described. I tried to fix it recently but it caused crashing for some users so I thought it best to leave it.

Outsiders' Bonfire is the only issue, as I've gone back before blueprints, reordered the only added districts all below yours, the only one of which that had issues I fixed, is now only cosmetic (Snake Charmer) because it altered an original district.

I only have added new class mods, no original or DLC original edits outside of inventory size, equip trinket amount, gold stack size, stage coach & nomad wagon (roster & trinket amount), only skins, and no boss edits, only added monsters topped with a variety pack. Also, no added, modified areas or background changes, yet..

The district Outsiders' Bonfire shows no names at all and says [<str_applies_to_hero_types_21>], does that mean it's still working? As everything is according to your load order described here..

If you know where that edit is for that header tie in, btw I can easily check and alter it as needed..

I would love to do districts for Muscarine's heroes but they requested that I leave them alone and I must respect their wishes.

Hey VultureTim, any chance you could also do Muscarine's mods? They are very popular hero mods and potentially worthy of a district expansion - if you would care to add them?

The way override files work is it can only add new things and cannot remove things. Tags added using override files are added no matter where it is located in the load order. If I used override files for the Abomination, Occultist, and Vestal then they would benefit from 3 districts total if you also have the Marvin Seo and Monk patch.
If it were possible and/or I knew how to remove tags using overrides then I could just simply remove district tags from heroes. Unfortunately, editing a few info files while everything else uses overrides is the best I can do.

why dont you edit the "abom, occult and vestal" file like you did with the other ones (.override).
Some people who fixed it manually, are probably confused now why some changes got reverted back to vanilla after your update.
Pretty awesome mod though. :happy_creep:

The Abomination, Occultist, and Vestal .info files are edited by this mod.
I recommend you put any mods that edit those heroes above all HED mods and place the proper tags into Gyll's mod.
Abomination: "hircines_hunting_grounds"
Occultist: "outsiders_bonfire"
Vestal: "themysciran_study"

This does not appear to have 100% compatibility with vanilla hero mods. I subscribe to Gyll's Vanilla, and when I went in to play with my Vestal, I saw that her abilities got changed to something closer to the default than what Gyll made.
