I searched the entire map three times.
The blueprint for this building was not found.
Please place this blueprint for sale in the store.
Or turn it into technological research.

Should still work as long as you dont use howls@themoon's cement foundation mod at same time.

could be that i mucked summit up when i was editing howls@themoons's cement foundation mod, i did do this mod awhile ago, best things to do is test the load order or just use one or the other

Seems to be some issue if used together with the cement foundation mod. When I have both mods active the large island is the same size as the small one so there's two small islands basically and the large one that requires 50 BM doesn't show up in the buildings list. Is there maybe a specific load order for these or are the two mods just not compatible? Or is the cement foundation that doesn't create a player base already included in this?

thanks for the update will put it into description, as far as i remember everything here is from vanilla, so any one can rip edit and reupload as far as im concerned lol the only reason ive not done anything with mod is that when i upload it in fcs values get updated due to vanilla game changes and it breaks it also im working other mods so as this works now i leave it as is

may have to credit howls@themoon thou as i cant remember if the original cement foundation was his own editing with meshes and that or just stuff he messed around with in vanilla

The f12 method works as far as I can tell. No issues yet.

On a side note, I did notice the smaller island is a bit glitchy. sometimes the floor just disappears in certain camera angles.

If you're done with the mod, would you ever consider passing it on?

Disabling Slopeless didn't seem to help. Still red and stuck mostly in the ground when I tried to build it in water. Going to try the f12 way

I'll try disabling Slopeless first. If that don't work, I'll try the f12 bit next. Didn't know you had to save and load in order for it to work. I'll pop back in when I try it to tell if it works.

also that happnes with all buildings you move with the f12 eidter you have to save it after moving then reload

few comments back someone ahd same issue only thing i can think of is to try placeing the foundation isle with slopeless disabled then save reload with slopeless re eneabled might solve issue please let me know if this works last guy didnt and if it does ill pop it into description

Got the blueprint. Seems to be conflicting with Slopeless(I think?). Can't place it in water. If I try to put it on land and move it with the editor, it doesn't act like an actual navmesh and they just swim through it instead of getting on it. Any ideas?

ahhh my bad i ment shun lol also theres one i know for a fact at the border between the hook and shun north west of drifters last loads of libarys in shun only thing you haave to worry about are few spiders and maby some bands of bones best just to send a runner with athletics gear and tools if lockpickings low not even sure there are any libarys in the eat areas mostly they are in the north /north west and south. south west

Shem doesn't appear to have any libraries and the Crater is even further away than the swamp. Any other ideas?

try shem and the crater not far from lagoon and a few lost libarys there in the south west territories, sorry i dont plan on updateing this mod any time soon as i am working on other mods

There an easier way of getting the bluepirnts? I'd rather not have to trek to the other side of the map. I'm situated in the Lagoon and the closest location is on the other side of the swamp. The rest are even further away and all seem to be on the left side of the map. Maybe make an easier way of getting the blueprints? Or can I bypass needing them and just research it?

yeah i was meaning to test that myself as this mod was done before the lagoon buildings were released meant to test it but never got round to it, i.d guess it would work in theory, youd have to give it a try

Okay, your buildings are edited to work with the artificial island you made. Let's say I place in a lagoon platform, like the one from its namesake Flats Lagoon. Would I be able to build on that platform?

you can do that with the f 12 editer or try placeing the foundation isle with slopeless disabled then save reload with slopeless eneabled might soleve issue

nvm I found the issue. The slopeless mod was stopping me from placing the foundation on the water tile. I tried to place this mod on higher priority but the slopeless mod still stopping it. It is kinda of a bummer cause that mod let me to build walls right next to buildings.

if you are able to build it in the sea or on land you should be able to build it on an acid lake, have you tried changeing the tilt/height of building useing - + and i think / keys sometimes placement for buildings can be tricky, also try rotation the building blureprint, if all else fails you may have to use the editer shift plus f12 toplace it

Thanks for info this mod has not been updated in ages due to vanilla change would break it if i loded it in fcs and svae the auto changes it makes, which you have to do it make any changes of your own if that makes sence so since it is still working as is ive left it as is for the forseeble future although all my mods aurther are listed as Quintess thou i will update the description of the mod name to make it a bit easier lol as your not the first to complain about the mod name

With over 100 mods searching for your proves to be difficult May I suggest: Artificial Island Project Poseidon : Author abquintess? this will make it easily Search-able. Currently searched Quintess only shows your The Quintessential expansion Mod- I had to search your author steam page- click your workshop - then was able to see all of your work. Hope this improves your mods adverting. :)

well i would personally use outpost -II it's basically the same but it has the steps that lead up or possibly add the steps outpost -II has as a snap on for use on normal landscapes.

the only floating buildings intended to use aree the y-houses you hang at each side like in the picture so you have a sort of turret defence platform for the base on either side

...so, in order to do any further work on this i.d have to copy the mod reupload it as a different mod in the workshop but only after ive gotten the new mod to work how it should do haha :S so im just leaving this as for now as it seems to be working in an at least useible state

but it might be a change to base game thats effetced it anyways as last i tested the outpost building that comes with the blue print should be placible in the actual island itself so that it s build into it

yeah theres gonna be problems with this mod as its not been updated since before 1.0 realsese, stuffs been changed in base game that affects the values set in this mod ( asim stupid and lazy and didnt go throught all the building makeing ecited copys of the base game ones and edited copys of all the building parts aswell *ahem*) and im not sure going into FCS and saveing the changes it makes on loading the mod will have this mod continue to work as it is, if that makes sence?...

Got a problem with this mod - if it's active, then Outpost-IV can only be placed on unreachable to pawns height. And if building on edges - floating buildings are not so aesthetically pleasing.
But still - good mod.

yeah probs but its a duplicate and reworking of howls at the moons cement foundation mod so i just called it cement test as that was what it was just left it as is lol

yes and no i litterally cant rember if its this mod or the original but placement of the platform can be tricky on land, in the "sea" the terrain tends to be wholely flat hence why this works best as an island mod, also im not sure if bridges would work on the platforms

hmm i have a fair few mods myslef and had now issues (yet lol) are you on stable or experimental im on stable so this mod i pressume so that might be an isssue

only other thing i can think of is see if it works when you start a new game?

I really wanted to use this mod, but I subscribed and enabled it. Went to Import my save with the mod enabled and Kenshi crashed. I'm using over 60 mods so I know it wasn't JUST your mod, but a conflict with one of the many I use.

I have yet to encouner any pathfinding bugs with reagrds to character movement between the art island and the anct lab ramp provided the two path line up easily the right way, it simple for the computer as the path finding for one ends where it meets the other

to defend it just build turrets on the roofs of buildings you place down and your troops will fire down at enermies in range, in the future it may be possible to place turrets on the art islands themselves but for now just use the buildings rooftop s

i really don't know. I really want this mod but it's look like giant pile of bugs. I already have it tough with ancient lab buildings glitching their's stair so I am very scared of big buildings with stairs. btw can you mount turrets on the edge of the island. I very much guess you can't but how do you defendit??
