We would like to know if it's okay for us to consider using this or recommending this in our mod pack?

also if you could recommend this to others if we decide to use it?

and I will gladly delete this comment if you wish me to do so.

Credits and links will be provided in description if used.

This mod was primarily to demo Xalderon's custom graphics, which include the Xs. As I mention above, if you just want the borders without the Xs, place this mod after another overlay mod like unusable items are red .

I think it would be better to replace X with red borders so buying from merchants will be much easier.

yeah, the X's are limiting the item icons. But the borders are good. So i would advice to load in the ususable/unidentify transfer overlay first, and then this one.

See the original overlays ; Xalderon provided a thinner version already. You would just need to move them into INGAMETEXTURESHEETS6.DDS like I did.

I liked this idea for a more visual representation of the item quality. However, after using it in-game and comparing to the default, I feel the borders are a little too thick for how much they "pop" visual wise. But this is just personal preference.

I think I'll just edit the alpha layer to make them a bit thinner and try that out. Thanks for the contribution either way!

Thanks again for putting this together. This is an excelent example of an implementation of these graphics.
