i felt like tengu prison was a place you had to be sentenced to, and if you just showed up there you'd be killed on site.

Depends what i'm testing tbh i'm in the middle of a huge personal mod but apparently i'm not the only one having that problem in the recent patch but they don't spawn on new un-modded games either which i start alot of to edit towns easier.
But hey ho i'm sure it'll get fixed at some point.

@Ravayen
when you import game, do you make sure the box marked "import dead npc's" is NOT checked?

@ShurikenMaster
You can get +4 rep points when you buy npc's from the slave traders. You will need alot of Cats for it though.

@ShurikenMaster While healing members of a faction does help raise your rep with them, it takes a LOT. The best thing to do, at least for the HN and UC, is to turn in bounties at their police station. Each bounty gets +2 Rep, and you need 50 Rep to be a Ally. The UC desert area is crawling with bounty heads, either Sand ninjas or Outlaw Farmers that wander near towns.

@ShurikenMaster
Crack open your medkits you have a whole lot of healing injured people to do.

@ZombiePotatoSalad
I for one was just being padantic/sarcastic and actually have this mod installed, by your response it looked like you got that :) please don't listen to anyone else latching on to my statement and turning it into an attack (modders do this for free we don't have to download it).

@grlakos
Personally i have a bug atm that prevents unique prisoners from spawning including the guy from dust king tower no matter how many times i import, did you get them recently or from an old save?
Skyguard 3 Sep, 2018 @ 3:56am
Speaking of which, how do you even get good reputation? I only know that you can turn bounties for rewards, but since you can't fight at the start of the game that's not an option
Graegar 2 Sep, 2018 @ 7:10pm
and on a side note....the Vault isnt very secure to begin with. Both Luquin and Sinklyde are in my squad(still working on getting Hex to join), and they're allowed free access into the vault even with permanent bounties on their heads
Graegar 2 Sep, 2018 @ 7:05pm
you need to have a faction rating of 50 to be allied. Once you're allied, the guards won't attack you after a few warnings.
ZombiePotatoSalad  [author] 2 Sep, 2018 @ 7:00pm
Tomibouzu The game never really explains the difference, if any. It says you are an Ally, but you can access their most secure facilities (save for Noble Houses).
Tomibouzu 2 Sep, 2018 @ 6:23pm
Ultimate question though is are you a high ranking official with the UC or just an Ally?

pfroddarn what does "not real world america" have to do with anything? it's a question of bringing someone to a drop off point vs dropping someone off at a different facility.
Do you deliver your own mail or do you go to the middle man?
pfroddam 2 Sep, 2018 @ 6:08pm
I have not checked this out yet, but i love the idea. never understood why a uc friendly bountyhunter hauling a high priority target would be turned away by the target's final destination. :steamhappy:

as for complaints...geez guys...this is kenshi, not real world america...and please read the descriptions we modders provide before posting complaints. :demoneye:
ZombiePotatoSalad  [author] 2 Sep, 2018 @ 2:25pm
Tomibouzu In order to gain access, you need to be allied with the UC. So you aren't just a "random bounty hunter," you're an ally, bringing the UC's enemies to proper justice.
Tomibouzu 2 Sep, 2018 @ 1:55pm
Why would "warden of Tengu's Vault, the most secure prison in UC territory, the one place designed to house the worst of the worst" want random Bountie hunters to go directly there? Wouldn't that make it... ya know... less secure?
ZombiePotatoSalad  [author] 1 Sep, 2018 @ 4:19pm
Ravayen That is true, but it also makes sense to store the most wanted criminals in the world in the most secure facility in the world. Like, seriously? You're going to hand over the Holy Lord Phoenix to local police? Uh... yeah. The prison is currently a gigantic sack of useless, so I thought I would give it SOME use.

This mod simply added the option to turn in bounties in the prison. That's it. It's not mandatory. You can turn them in at police stations if you so desire.
Ravayen 1 Sep, 2018 @ 3:27pm
Nice mod, fundamentaly wrong though.
In kenshi bounties are handed in at police stations not prisons.
In real life bounties are handed in at police stations not prisons.
Unless you believe you can take a criminal directly to prison yourself ?
like you said Tengu's vault is the most secure prison in the world you shouldn't even be able to approach the gate let alone talk to the warden.
Graegar 31 Aug, 2018 @ 7:13pm
the warden definitely has the best lines in the game. and he will give them the business when he puts the shackles on them. but it would be nice to actually have a dialoque option with the warden when he's in "shopkeeper" mode
ZombiePotatoSalad  [author] 31 Aug, 2018 @ 5:33pm
@grlakos But then I think you don't get the Warden telling them how much it's going to suck. I'm not sure.
Graegar 31 Aug, 2018 @ 4:28pm
just put them in the cage, you will get the bounty for them.
[REDACTED] 31 Aug, 2018 @ 2:05pm
This should be a part of the game. Might wanna talk to the dev! Good mod.
catanbros 27 Aug, 2018 @ 9:48pm
thank goodness for this mod, When i worked my butt off to get 85 rep points with UC, those guards i nthe vualts wont even let me in to turn in bounties. wtf is up with these guys?
