That aside I got into this game from your and Spanj videos on YT so thank you so much for introducing me to Empyrion. I love this game so darn much. I but Space Engineers on hold for it too which is saying a lot with how much in love and addicted i was/am with that game. Also loving your workshop creations as well

Man sad times that we have to deal with this crap again...

I'm cleaning up my subscribed items list, removing all but the very best (it's becoming to slow ingame to have as many items subbed as i had) now with a clean load order i can look for some underrated gems i've missed (like some of jrandalls builds) i Was just skimming your workshop to see if i missed anything cool that you've built. And thus noticed this. Read the description again and man it's still as epic as before.

Anyway i can't wait to see your next builds xcal, keep up the good work. And for the love of god. When you do upload the kydex, i want to be the first to be notified ;D

They should do away with downvotes completely on the Workshop. If someone likes it, they can upvote. If they don't, they don't have to vote at all. that way, the best builds still rise to the top.

Its more then possible to share the blueprint esp file and manually insert it into your game files...But it being a alpha game, I always want to promote the Developers and share content to uplift the product so they can continue to make the game better. Downvoting has gotten better as of late. It's really a steam issue at the end of the day.

I suppose a possible workaround would be to have a dedicated website hosting some of these designs, that discriminate based on quality both in the design itself and details/screenshots provided. Basically what gorillagong is to machina for this game. Of course, the game would probably have to be out of early access before that could happen.

Yeah it sucks because Allot of Great Designers who don't have a following yet, get left into the abyss of nothing

It does actually do something though. The downvotes are worth way more then the upvotes, and they push designs far down in the most popular list, thu8s preventing anyone from seeing the new content when its released...

It's not like upvotes or downvotes actually do anything, so its not really a trolling system. Still, maybe having the requirement 'you must provide a comment along with your up/downvote' would be nice. At the very least you could write off one or two (usually the ones that just spell out d#cks 50 times and nothing else).

Personally, I think the voting system needs to go away. The number of downloads should be all that is needed to judge whether something is good or not. Remove the "trolling" system!

Thanks XCaliber, I tried this and it makes me feel like a BIG MAN. Suddenly all my insecurities disappear when ever I see that red thumb and I feel full of confidence again.

I clicked the like button for this design, then immediately had to go back to the game and flick that switch back on to make myself feel better.

Hahahahaha LOL - wow...So, I'm roaming through your entire freaking awesome collection of stuff, and I find one I didn't subscribe to...I saw the downvote name and was like "wha? must be something cool" - I read through the description and haven't laughed this hard in a while.

I love your stuff, I havent used anywhere near all of your blueprints yet, but so far, you have provided EXACTLY the things I've wanted and needed. I don't mind playing around to build stuff, but im not thaaaat creative overall so it's a bit hard to get things with great function and style. I am almost exclusively using your designs as my go-to choice when I need something new.

Keep up the great work. Know that for me (and I'm sure many many others too) very much appreciate all of these awesome designs.

OMG Xcal, I don't come here for laughs but thank you for the unexpected chuckle! I am not a soc med guy, I despise FB and the rest of them. On the other hand, this is in fact a form of "soc med" (and I hate to admit that) so I can't claim that I shun it entirely. To be honest, I have never even noticed the thumbs up/down here in the workshop and I feel bad about not upvoting all the designs of yours that I use... I will make a point of remedying that this weekend.
