Have you considered making the roofs count as heavy mountain overhead so they stop enemy mortars/drop pods? (Is this even possible physically?)

So I have some MG turrets firing backwards? This is a problem because some pawns in the bunker just got hit by this.

Please update for 1.0 as soon as you can, because after my desert gameplay with a bunker on an bridge in the middle of an oasis, this is a must have mod for me!

Well, the one field below the dome is blocking buildings, because there is already a building (the roof itself). Other fields shouldn't be affected.

A small question: Is the bunker roof meant to block building under it? If not, I know it's a mod conflict somewhere, but thought to make sure first.

@ PremierVader: Well, the cover effectiveness of these embrasures are meant to be below the trenches, so i won'T change that. But feel free to change it by yourself by editing it.

Hey nice mod but can you at least increase the cover effectiveness of your embrasures from 70% to at least 80%? At this rate I can just get embrasures from other mods with better cover rating and use them as bunkers instead which makes the embrasures here useless. Only problems is they dont look good as bunkers from your mod lol

@Worm: The textures of the mod don't have any effect on the behaviour of embrasures (a.k.a. no shooting through "gab", in fact these walls could be invisible). The chance of getting hit does no really differ from the chance of getting hit behind sandbags. I got no idea how much damage these suicide driods do, but the walls got a lot of hp, but will get double damage from explosions (to make a difference between bullets and bombs = Ever seen a wall get broken down by 9mm bullets?!? =)

I had some issues with wall placement myself but I can handle a bad astetic not so much that enemies regularly 1 shot my colonists through the embrasures unless they stand off to the side.
Also I think its an issue with mech enemies but the bombs used by the suicide droids 1 shot full health walls from this mod lol

@lloki: I see. These walls were not meant to ne that way ;-). But i will do my best to add this feature, along with the upcoming addonds (ammo for mgs to balance them out a bit)

It's a cosmetic thing I think is missing in the game. For me it destroys the impression of a solid, hardpointed defence-bunker.

@davata: It's just 3 objects, i dont't wanna upload a new structures solo version vecause of three guns. Simple just don't use them. If you really desire for it, got inside the mod folder (number 1498241089) and delete folloting xml file => DEFS => ThingDefs_Buildings => E_bunekrguns.

have you considered doing a version for the modern battlefield? something with more modern emplacements, maybe from Vietnam era M-60 to current Saw? mortars and maybe a howitzer? maybe a mk19 grenade launcher platform. i know trenches and bunkers can still be found on the battlefield in some locations.

@ Neppy: Yeah, there seems to be a problem with hair-stlye mods. I checked the code and came to no conclusion. Honestly, i got no ideao what causes this bug and how to fix it.

Well I just launched the game and it's working again, changed none of my mods and got no update this morning, so I don't know what caused that problem and how it solved on his own :x

On first sight, it COULD be JecsTools, cause it is altering gun handling etc. I'm not really into that mod, you could try just starting a game without jecs and doors => build up testing ground in godmode => test it. Then you got clearity. IF this error disappears, you better contact the autor of jecstools (it's my guess that this mod is causing troubles, not only with trenches (see the UN-Comment by sentient_worm).

@ Nixx: Due game mechanics, i had to make them visiable bunkerroofs just a cosmetic.
