Wait let me understand this mod... So gameplaywise it disables the Templar class as an enemy faction, so that you can use this new faction but only once a month or something.

And storywise, it turns Templars into your enemy, so that you're buggering off fighting a civil war while the aliens are destroying human civilization. Wow, great priorities.

I applaud your effort though. And I totally understand that the Templars seem like the XCOM2 equivalent to working with Stalin. But irl, the world still sat with Stalin because it saw the alternative.

I can confirm that this mod crashes the game with LWotC (Long War of the Chosen), while loading into a mission, after launching a mission from the Geoscape.

A very cool mod for alternative psionics.
Found a bug. When a soldier is unconscious (for example, when a robot stuns him), he disappears from the map. At the end of the mission, he ended up seriously wounded, but alive (are they immortal or what?)

so the only way to keep your templar after the final mission is to send them on convert action. Damn imagine being that templar and wonder where his faction go.

checked, it is not compatible with LWOTC.
the game crashes when they are in skyranger. i tried restarting, deleting everything 2 times and the same thing happens.
i just uninstalled this mod, restarted and it works.
Too bad, because I really wanted to have a new faction.

@SuffeR You can only raise influence by 1 per month by using the One Small Favor mission.

@Aleosiss - Hey. Just to let you know you've accidently left both your shortcut to the Launcher as well as your AML settings file in the config folder for this mod, which can pick up on some peoples systems and interfere with their own AML launchers.

Cool idea, but it just breaks immersion for me since they want to kill off the Templars. Seems wrong to not tell your ally, that another of your allies wants to wipe his group out.

Any chance you could make this not "kill off" the templars? maybe make it toggleable in the ingame config, the take could be that Geist himself is gone, he was fanatic, but not all the remaing templars have been such fanatics and you keep your relationship with the remnants...
also I am plaing with a lot of mods that actually make enemies stronger, this make the operatives in this mod not so powerful, at force level 11 they started lagging behind even full promoted...
can you add an option to lift the customization ban on the three and treat them as any other soldier? Last thing, I would love if we could recruit the 3 "officially" at max rank, like literally having them as factions heroes I can use anytime...
BTW this is a great mod, really enjoyed it so far (even with the three heroes lagging behind, it made for a fun challenge)

Hey I can't seem to progress with the program as it says they need to find the template stronghold but I have high influence with the templars. I might have missed it in other talks here but I have not see any bugs about it.

If relevant, just to test, I disabled the Covert Ops bridge mod and now I can get to the loadout screen, but unsurprisingly, the little Program button is gone. However, I'm still able to call them in for retaliation missions, so it's whatever I guess

Getting a crash with this with Covert Infiltration - when going to begin an infiltration mission (scientist, if that matters) - when I click the loadout button, WITHOUT the button for the Program - normal squad - I get a bunch of this spam in console and then it crashes:

Any ideas?

There should be a button the upper left hand corner of the screen when you're in the Geoscape.
