Then based on how the map was buildt it can happen a single space surrounded by other terrain is another terrain. So it looks like land, but is water. Then it seems units can push each other onto terrain they normally cannot enter if the area is too crowded.
This cannot be fixed by a mod but needs to be done by editing the game source code.
Glad you like it!
Steam just takes care of official game files. But AoE uses additional files for its modding system in most cases.
You can see this with rms, scenarios, some taunts, some soundtrack files, all non-terrain graphics and some other.
To get rid of these files you have to delete them manually.
Easiest way is to delete the folder they are in before verifying. All still needed files will be reloaded automatically this way.
For most graphics (and the ones in my packs as well), delete the AoE\data\slp folder.
Mine is kinda new from 2012 :c
It's really annying, most workshop bugs can be solved 'relativelly easy', but occasional (as in only you are reporting them) lags are really hard to fix from my side.
No other people reported such a problem, I don't have any myself and if my terrains would cause it, no terrain pack would be playable, as most of them have a larger size than my mods.
Sorry, but I can only recommend to check your internet connection or something like that. :(
Do you mean your game is lagging when using these terrains or do I missunderstand you?

If you could tone it down a teeny weenie bit that would be great though.
I will comment on that page!
That said, have a look at the warm editions comparision screens, perhaps that fits your likings?

And there is also a V4, that also has a warm version.

Until now no other person mentioned having problems with fps that were caused by my mods (and my earlier texture packs had more MB in size).
Perhaps someone else has an idea to fix this?
No problem, will do so after work.
As far as I know, some trees I'm using are from that game, that's right.
For the cliffs I don't know.
Textures are based on free images I found in the web and changed/modified by me. For that I don't think there is a connection to that game. But I can't guarantee that 100%.^^
